Strength:

This driver is excellent for the money! I am a right hander that plays golf only a couple times a month, so I have the average low to mid 90's scores and the occaisoional slices. | mobile diesel mechanic

this driver is amazing. i have been playing for 2 years and am getting to be a bogy golfer consitantly on average. i hit my old driver at the farthest with wind about 300. i got a taylormade r510 7.5 degree loft with stiff flex shaft. i have hit two shots in the last week that were on par 4 360 to 370 yard holes within 10 yards of the green.( no wind) keep in mind that i swing fairly hard and i am 23 years old, but i have hit biggest bertha, ft-5, king cobra (new driver not sure what model), and many others trying to find a good driver. since my swing has been more consistant i hit the ball straight 90% of the time. this is one great driver!!!!! if it breaks, i WILL buy another!

Great Driver. Goes 15 yards further than my GBB driver does that I had before. The impact is soft, makes sort of a Tink noise though, not a fan of that. Id rather have good distance the a better sounding club though. The aldila shaft is really nice. Definitely happy I bought this driver.

This is a great club, i recently bought it second hand for around £50 obviously not expecting anything to good (bearing in mind the price and at the 330cc head) until i stepped up on the tee. weary of the weight on the head; i took a reasonable swing and absolutely fired the ball down the fairway over 290+ yards it still amazes me at this very day for such a small head to be matching up with all these huge 400cc+ drivers. overall this club is very consistant and definitly adds the yardage to your drive! funily enough just before i wrote this review i went on to a website to find the taylormade r510 once being retailed at £450 and being cut down to £140; i definitly recomend this club to any golfer even the lowest of handicappers.

Love this club. I added 25+ yards switching over from Callaway Steelhead drivers and I can work the ball better with the TM. Plus, it is very forgiving for any miss hits. With its great esthetic appeal and solid feel, this driver is a winner.

My four year old r510 took great care of me. I love that driver.
Unfortunately, after my last round, i noticed that the face was starting to crack and cave in around the sweet spot.
I emailed TaylorMade, they told me where to go.......and within five minutes of walking into the TM dealer......i was walking out with a BRAND NEW R5 DUAL!!!!!! with HEADCOVER.
hOLY GUACAMOLE!
no questions asked!
i will forever sing the praises of TAYLORMADE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

This driver is absolutely incredible....I previously owned a R360Ti, which had already added about 30 yards to my drives, but I found that I was getting too much elevation from that club. I got this R510 on eBay for less than £50 and was attracted by the smaller club head and the lower trajectory it gives (and it is the legal in 2008 version). This driver has now added another 30-40 yards to my drives - I hit my longest drive ever yesterday, 275 yards, and that is in winter conditions so the ball barely ran on (and 275 yards is very long for me). Can't wait to use this in the summer !!

WOW...i was using a Taylor Made Burner 420, but in realizing i needed a stiff flex, i found this Taylor Made 510 off of rockbottom golf for under $50. It is used, but in great shape still. I just got home from using this driver and on a short par 4, i took it out and made the folks on the green mad. It was a 325 yard par 4, and i was well over 310 yards. I have a swing speed of over 108 (normal swing), so this is perfect. I even like that the club head isn't enormous. For me, it has a draw to it, but i was able to fade it a few times.

This driver is great. On of the Best drivers out there. I gained at least 15 yards over my Callaway driver. It also has a great low spin rate. The workability on it is second to none. I can hit High, low, draw, fade, and Ben Hogan risers with no problem. It is big improvemnet over the 300 series. Has great forgivness too. It has all you expect from a Taylormade. There is just one thing, it sayes it is a low flying driver, it is not a low flying driver. driver. This thng flies high.
