TaylorMade TaylorMade R7 Draw Drivers

TaylorMade TaylorMade R7 Draw Drivers

DESCRIPTION

Switched from the R5 Draw to R7 460 Draw. No transition time at all, began hitting this one perfectly right away. I had a Prolaunch 55 Regular flex in my R5, but the ReAx stock shaft in the R7 Draw is an incredible shaft, feels very similar to the ProLaunch. No need for an upgrade in shaft - as long as the off-the-shelf flex fits you well.

As has been stated many times in these reviews, the 'Draw' clubs are not magic. You still have to make a good swing. Just a little technology assisting you, that's all.

As with a lot of Taylormade drivers, the feel is solid, the sound is good, and the distance and forgiveness are money.

I'm an okay golfer. I shoot mid to high 90s. My big problem is off the tee, it's not that I slice the ball but a slight fade. This driver helped me strightin my drives. I am now a Taylormade user.

I've never been able to hit a driver correctly in my relative short (3 yr) golf career. Because of my previous lack of confidence, I ditched the driver and opted for a 3-wood.

I realized that I needed to improve my game and what better place to start than the tee box. One of my close friends suggested I try this older driver because IT WORKS!. Boy, does it ever.

Sure, there's the occaisonal mis hit from not using a driver consistently, but it's been great so far. I'm hitting about 220 yds off the tee.

Get yourself a used one for $80 - $100 and swing away. Keep in mind, your golf swing still has to have proper mechanics for it to work. don't expect to hit this driver if you can't take a proper swing (ie. chicken wign, forward pivot, no shoulder turn). Don't expect miracles.

Every time I read a review it always seems that everyone gets on with the club they’ve bought... Not me!

I've researched, tried and bought various drivers but I always have the same problem... a nasty slice. I've tried to correct it and that has worked to some degree but 7/10 times I would find myself either in the rough or OB.

So, I read the reviews on here regarding the R7 Draw and thought I should give it a go. (You know what's coming next) Yes it's awesome... OMG I played twice with it now and my drives are just amazing.. I'm still not belting it far but each shot is on the fairway and over 220 so once I’m used to it I hope to go further.

These drivers are pretty cheap if you buy second hand. Got mine on a well known auction site and it was worth the £75 paid.

Give it a go - you never know till you've tried....

Like everyone has said, I slice with any driver most of the time until I got this driver. Best $150 I've ever spent on golf equipment.

i used to have a terrible slice before i had this club the day i got it i took it to the range and it was amazing it went strait 9 out of 10 times and has perfect height and distance then one day i i broke the shaft and they put a swing science on it and i have had to relearn to hit with it again and the outcome with it now is unpredictable

I am 11 and I play in the high 80's.When i first got it,if i drive hard,it goes abit to the right.and the loft is 13,so i didn't really like it.But as i got use to it,it's actually pretty good.the flight is not to high or too low,nnd the price is cheap.Buy it if u play in the low 90's and spend some time with it at the range with it,soon you'll be playingin the high or mid 80's.

Bought this from GolfDirect.co.uk 2 weeks ago at a bargain £99 for a new driver. I, as many of us have, an incredible slice on my driver... nothing on a 1 iron or a wood but get the driver out and slice city...Anyway - bought this as I felt I felt I needed the extra yards from the tee and I was not disappointed... Hit this 30 -40 yards past by 3 wood and although I still slice slightly I can keep it on the fairway...has meant more pars and more use of shorter irons... another few weeks and I will be slamming this past my friends on the fairway...

I have had 2 driver (tour edge and Nicklaus) and eventually got rid of both of them and brought a R7 3 wood to tee-off with. It was working great except I was always 30 yards behind everybody else. So a week ago I got the big dog and now I'm 20 yards ahead of everybody and more on the fairway than not.

I was heading out to an important round and accidentally broke my old driver getting it in the car (don't ask). I needed a club and went to Dick's on the way to the course.

With no time to try a club or read any reviews I picked this club up since it was cheap and I thought the Draw model would help.

Normally I have a pretty bad slice. I can only keep it in the fairway by aiming dead left and praying that I don't hit it straight.

I walked up to the first tee. My first time swinging the club was my practice swing. I figured, what the heck lets see if it goes straight.

I hit the best drive of my life. Long and right down the heart of the fairway. I have to admit that I giggled just a bit as I watched it go.

I missed only one fairway all day and knocked 10 strokes off of my game.

Not a bad club, huh?
