TaylorMade XR-03 Ti Drivers

TaylorMade XR-03 Ti Drivers

DESCRIPTION

The XR-03 Ti Driver features a 410cc clubhead. A product of Powerframe Technology, it''s made from high-strength SP-700® titanium with rolled face plate construction to produce a stiffer frame with a thinner, cold-formed face for the highest COR we''ve ever engineered. The improved CAD-optimized head structure offers higher moment of inertia to maintain ball velocity on off-centre hits. Its computer-optimized CG location improves launch conditions for players of average swing speeds by creating a higher launch angle with less ball spin to realize maximum distance and control. An internal weight pad technology enhances sound and solid feel for the desired feedback preferred by most players.

I had been playing the original TM 360 Ti driver for a year and loved it. I was hitting it long and straight but was not getting a lot of roll. I had a 11 degree loft on it and wanted to switch to a lower loft. When I heard of the 2003 TM 360 XD I had to try it. I bought a 9.5 regular flex and the results have been nothing short of amazing. I am hitting the ball straight as usual but am getting atleast 10-15 yards more. The custom shaft on this club is great. If you are a fan of the 360 and want to upgrade this is the club for you.

I just purchased this club after numerous attempts to replace my one 360 driver, i tryed titleist 975jvs and to put it pluntly it was rubbish, very disappointing.then tryed GBBII loving driver but no longer than my 360, then tryed the XR-03, man, ive never seen a driver so long, not just for high handicappers all those people out there with titleist irons in single figures, dont get there drivers, there not as good as the irons.hope this helps.oh, and all you guys who shoot in the 90's and drive the ball 300 plus yards, either your puttings terrible or your talking rubbish!

I was a bit reluctant at first to buy this product but after many recommendations i did it.The trick is too keep your swing slow.It adds 20-30 yards onto each drive. It's ust awesome.I would defiently recommend it to anybody.

Amazing driver. Resist the urge to kill the ball and it will go miles. I was using a Titleist 975D with a proforce 75 stiff shaft, then switched to this when I found a good deal (£180) at Direct Golf UK (except that they charged extra for the headcover). The sheer size of the head had me lashing at the ball every time. Then, last week I deliberately slowed my swing down, and now the ball actually goes further with less effort, even than when I got a decent strike before. Could be something to do with the spring-effect face. I fail to see how Taylor Made could have improved upon this club with the XR-05. Very highly recommended

The driver sat well at address. I started to hit severe hooks during the first couple of rounds. As i have got used to the stiffer shaft, the difference is some 20 yards over my previous Ping driver.

Just played by first round with my driver and commited the cardinal sin of not buying long tees. as you can imagine all but one drive was along the ground, but the signs were encouraging. the one drive that did get away was very satisfying if not the longest i knew i hadnt competely wasted my money and the best news of all, all shots were completley straight. Never have i looked forward to buying some new tees before when i do and i have played again i will re post.
