I have had this driver for the past three years and I love it! If you are a player who tends to draw the ball you will gain a considerable amount of distance with this club. The only drawback to this driver is it is kind of on the light side with the stock Titleist shaft. Congrats to the guru's at Titleist for pulling this club out of the hat. I am a Titleist Driver man for life.

I bought one of these new 975-D's in place of an old Taylor Made Burner (Original). I have had great success and love this club! One excellent benefit of this club is if you draw the ball naturally, you will gain considerable distance due to the low ball flight. Congrats to the guru's at Titleist for pulling this one out of the hat. I am a 975-D man for life.

I have a friend that works in a pro shop, so I am able to try almost any kind of equipment that one could name. I like this driver alot. Much more solid feel at impact than many of the new drivers with a high COR. You have to have a good swing to hit this, if you can't hit this it isn't the club's fault. I can hit this about 260 consistently, and can max it out at about 290. I can hit my current driver, the Mizuno Forged T-Zoid, about 270, with a maxed out ball of a bit over 300. The Titleist driver is alot more accurate than my Mizuno and it really shows when I try to hit an extra-long shot with both of the drivers side by side. I can hit the Titleist driver at full speed in the fairway about 80%... the Mizuno gives me about 60% tops.

This club is really really awesome !! There is no other club like it on the market ! Try it w/a steel shaft for more control . i started out with a stiff graphite shaft but found for my 110+ swing speed i didnt have much control , so i decided to put a steel shaft on it , and i like it alot better. what would you rather take 250 in the woods or 240 right in the middle of the fairway ? the added weight helps me control it alot better and im more comfortable w/it . also it is very easy to work the ball both ways . great driver . if you have a 110+ swing speed and need more control go w/the steel shaft , even tiger woods has a steel shaft on his 975d!

I heard this driver was only for low handicap players who work the ball well, but i had also read a number of reviews by high handicaps that hit this driver well. since i was doing nothing with my driver(integra l-series)except consistently snap hooking it, i figured what do i have to lose? when i saw this driver at the used discount shop, i put down a deposit and took it out to the range.
from the first shot on, i was consistently hitting it straight, right down the middle, 250-260, sometimes 270, with a beautiful medium to low boring trajectory that was a pleasure to behold. and try as i might i could not overswing with this club--fairly strong guy from three years of weight-lifting--each time i swung harder, the ball went farther and just as straight. the was by far the best club i have ever hit. i think this club is best for stronger players who release the club with a lot of snap at the bottom of the swing. if you're hooking your driver a lot, give this a try. and if you can't hit this, it's definitely not the club. it's your swing. a driver can't be the #1 driver on tour and be a piece of crap! get a lesson!

Great club for every skill level. If you shoot in the 80s. You will definitely lower your score with this Big Dog. Classic deep pear shape head, nice and straight. You get big rolls with 9.5 or 8.5 depending on your swing. I prefer the 9.5 myself with the stock stiff shaft. Don't want to switch to the ProForce because it is a little too stiff and I get tired late in the round.
Some people don't like the sound coming off the face (i.e. Ping Callaway) I played with the latter and although it sounds good, the distance wasn't there.
So if you have a decent swing speed and want to improve your game. Then look no further or wait til Titleist comes out with the 975J (Jumbo). Can't wait to be driving another 15-20 yards farther. Also try out the Pro V1 balls.

I've never felt the need to write about my equipment, however, the 975D is THE most consistent driver I've ever hit.
I've lost a little distance from my Greatest Big Bertha but I'm hitting more fairways...ahh the short grass!

This is the most over-rated driver in golf. It is short and unforgiving. The Precept 260LS, the Mizuno Forged and the MacGregor Tourney Tour Ti are all longer and more forgiving.

Picked it up at a CC town from a rep. After 9 holes I wouldn't give it up. Long, straight and forgiving even for high handicap players.
