975 D w/ Select shaft
IMHO the best driver on the market. Workable, long and much more forgiving than its reputaion. Added 10-15 yards compared to my ti bubble. Take the time to try as many shafts as you can. Different shafts seem to have more of an effect on this club than other clubs I have tried. I tried almost every shaft out there and settled on the Titleist Select. It's heavy and has low torque. My friends swear by UST's but they were too light for my taste. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made ti bubble, 300 series(also nice), Callaway BB, GBB, Hawkeye(Hookeye), Kasco |

I used to have a Wilson Fat Shaft, I have to say that this was a very good club but I wanted something that different. So I got this club and this is truly the best club I have ever had. I recommend this club for just about anyone seeking to hit the ball farther straighter and lower. Similar Products Used: Wilson Fat Shaft |

Thee best driver on the market so far. It is accurate and extreamly long. It is not as forgiving as the Ping but it is definatly longer when pure. If it wasn't, I'm sure Jason Zuback (Worlds long drive champion) wouldn't use it. The cool thing about it is that the club has a high center of gravity which means the sweet spot is not on the center of the face, but a little bit higher. This causes the ball to come off the face lower and flatter (No rise). The Ping and others have a low center of gravity and I find myself ballooning the ball at times. Great club for wind but not a beginners club. Also be careful about what loft you get because the ball naturally comes off lower with it. The shaft it comes with is crap so you might want to reshaft to a proforce, Grafalloy, or EI-70. If you are a higher handicap then get a higher loft. You will have great success with the club if it is customized for your swing. Customer Service Very reputable company. If anything at all goes wrong with the club, any club defect, they fix it for free or give you a free club. I spent the past five weeks demoing drivers from all the major manufacturers. I wasn't even considering this club when I began my search, partly because I'd read how difficult and unforgiving it is, and partly beause I'd convinced myself I wanted a TiSi. This club is absolutely GREAT if you are playing everyday. It is not for the weekend golfers who need more forgiveness. Customer Service slow but effective Similar Products Used: Callaway HawkEye, PingISI Ti |

I have the 8.5 degree loft driver with a rifle shaft (6.0) that is the standard length of a steel shafted club. The consistency of the shaft coupled with the solid head of the 975 D driver provides outstanding distance and greatly increases my accuracy. I am hitting the ball farther, even if the shaft is 1" shorter, and my accuracy has improved tremendously. This combination has allowed my game to move to the low 80s or the high 70s. I strongly recommend this driver for players with a handicap of 9 - 13. Customer Service I have had no problems with the driver and have been hitting it for over a year. Awesome! My teacher sold it to me...asked what I was doing with a Trimetal. Second round with it last year hit two drives over 300 yards...haven't done that in years. It's scary long with an unbelieveable ball flight. It just keeps going even on off-center hits! It's so expensive that I'm going to buy a 3 Wood this year... Worth whatever it costs!!! I read the reviews and I thought they were all hype, until I tried it. The ball just explodes off the club face on a nice true ball flight that doesn't go too high. I haven't been able to slice it yet, but when I miss, it goes low and a little duck hookish. I've gained 15-25 yards over my old driver but I have also gained alot of accuracy. Best club I've ever hit my confidence is great when you put this club in my hands. The Ping might be longer in the air but I get more roll with the Titleist. I average 270 yards with the club off the tee. Similar Products Used: Firesole,Ping,Prince,Callaway,Powerbilt |
