I had the 975J EI-70. My tendency was to push. I decided to go with a JVS because it is weighted to draw. Most clubs do, but I've always used the 975 series and all other drivers look funny to me at address. The performance of this club is fantastic. I never drew the ball until I got this driver. It is long. The launch angle is pretty high and the overall ball flight looks dramaticaly good. This club is pretty forgiving compared to the J and D model. It feels great. Lots of feedback. The shaft is perfect. At 77grams, it's not too heavy and not too light. If I could afford it, I would have spares of these shafts. I don't think I'm purchasing another driver. I can't imagine that it gets better. Customer Service The people at Titleist are pretty prompt returning emails. Similar Products Used: 975D AJ Tech 4470 975D EI-70 975J EI-70 |

This is an amazing golf club. I've had a 975D (Grafalloy 35S) and a 975J (Grafalloy35S)and this is an amazing jump forward. The one I have is the high cor hot faced version. The shaft is a bit more flexible than the Grafalloy and hits the ball pretty high but it goes for miles. Unfortunately, my club has just suffered a caved in face! I've heard this has happened before as the face is really thin....I'm sure Titleist will sort it out pretty quick! Customer Service Not used yet!! :) Similar Products Used: 975D, 975J |

This driver is more forgiving than I have expected. Compared to my previous driver, Cleveland Launcher, I don't feel any loss in distance or forgiveness. In fact I find it easier to hit (it's probably the shaft. I am using a shaft, Graffalloy s35R, with less torque on the 975JVS than on the launcher. Overall I am very happy with my new toy! Titleist 975J VS, YS-6 Stiff Shaft
As the most popular driver on the PGA Tour, this club gives me the best performance in terms of distance and playability combined. It's probably a few yards shorter and less forgiving than my TM 320Tour Driver, but it's certainly easier to control than the TM. It also looks a lot better when standing over the ball. All in all, for the price that I paid for it this club is awesome. |

975J 8.5 Grafalloy 35-S
Sorry about my BS reviews earlier. I have both the D (EI-70 Stiff) and a J with Grafalloy 35-S. Both clubs are great. Similar distance. Only difference is that D stays lower and gets more roll and J takes off higher but has more carry. J goes a little futher by about 10 yds. Before I didnt like high lofted drivers cuz their tendency to pop up. But after messing around with the J, I know the difference of ballooning (i.e. Hawkeye) and hitting a high trajectory. More carry = more distance. And since it gets minimal spin, the roll is almost as good as the D. Overall distance is slightly better but the sweetspot is better for more straighter tighter shot dispertions and more fairways. This is the most solid feeling consistent driver out on the market. Not for you Callaway ERC or PING TiSi lovers. You know when you rip it cuz you get so much feedback from the head. Excellent driver. I like the JVS but its a little too hot off the face for me. The J feels more solid so I prefer it. LFE is cool too but slightly too big for me. Even though the J is 312cc, it feels as though im playing my old 275cc 975D. Titleist has done an awesome job. Cannot put a price on excellent performance in the game of golf. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: 975D, Hawkeye, VFT, Taylor Made 300 Series, 975JVS, 975LFE. |

This is the best driver on the market in my opinion. The ball flight is consistently medium-high and the feel is sweet and solid.Distance is as far as anything else.Be sure to pick the right shaft as the shaft is most important.High quality and craftsmanship. If you are someone looking to improve you game, and not buy it,than give this driver a try along with some lessons. The performance and confidence that you are going to just crush the ball makes this stick worth every penny. Not to mention a high resale value if you don't like.Demo it, and make your decision there. Customer Service Pretty much non-existant. I guess Titleist is too busy making quality golf products to worry about customer service. Similar Products Used: 975j-vs, callaway gbbII, cleveland launcher, ping tec |

This is a good club, but the only problem I have with it, the club draws the ball to much.It is not as easy to work the ball as the L FE. I found the the 975L Fe to be the better driver. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Titleist 975D, 975J, VS, L FE, Ping ISI TEC,Mizuno Pro 300S |

I recently updated my driver to a new 975J and it is great. I'm hitting the ball a good 15-30 yards longer than my old driver and the off centre hits go much more straighter than my last driver. This is by far the best pice of golf equiptment I have ever bought, my handicap has come down three shots since i bought it and the number of fairways i hit have increased considerably. The trampoline face on this driver has added 30 yards to my drives. It has got a regular shaft and 10.5 degree loft. It's the best driver I have hit to date and it makes a lovely ping when I hit it off the centre. I highly recommend this club to better players. Best driver I have played to date. I have trouble getting the ball airborne and this club helps a great deal. My only concern is the shaft, since the ball tends to balloon when I "crank it up a notch" (Graphite Design YS6 Stiff). GD makes great shafts, but this one is the wrong configuration for me. This club also has a much better feel than my old Ping ISI. Customer Service Have not used them to date. Similar Products Used: Ping ISI, Mizuno Tzoid, Callaway BBB |
