Model Reviewed: Ovation offset 3 wood

I used this club for the first time today and all I can say is WOW!! I normally struggle with my driver and my fairway woods, particularly off the tee. My normal shot is a slight fade at best to a banana slice at worst off the tee or off the deck with a fairway wood. With this club today I immediately starting hitting the ball much better. My shots went on average 10-20 yards longer and were much more consistently landing in the fairway. The club seems very forgiving and very easy to hit. I started seriously playing in Jan. of this year. I have become a club junkie. I own five drivers and a dozen various fairway woods. This is by far the easiest, most cofidence inspiring club that I own. It is easy to make good contact and to send the ball airborn - my mis-hits seemed to have disappeared with this club. I would highly recommend this club for those high handicappers like myself who need confidence and consistency when hitting woods. Having played Taylor Made, Wilson, Callaway and Clevland woods I must say that from my experience, Adams makes the easiest to hit fairway woods and the Ovation seems to be the best and at a very reasonable price.

Model Reviewed: Ovation 3/5 Offset

After getting accustomed to the low profile, I find I hit this club straigter and longer than any woods I have used before. Even out of some pretty thick rough, the clubs lift the ball and carry it straight. My slice is significantly reduced.

Model Reviewed: Adams Ovation 3 & 5 offset

Suddenly, I lost any semblance of consistency with my Taylor Made 200 series Fairway woods. I was topping the ball a lot, and most solid hits were weak slices. I “borrowed” an offset 3 and 5 Adams Ovation for a business trip through Alabama and the RTJ Golf Trail. I played 54 holes in three days, and after a couple of miss hits because of the shallow face, I go the hang of these clubs. The offset produces a high draw. I hit the 3 wood about 230 yards, and the 5 wood about 215. These are both longer than the Taylor Made, probably because I eliminated the slice. I find them to be very easy to hit, and very consistent; just get the club face to the back of the ball. I’m not good enough to work the ball; I just want a straight, consistent shot. These clubs give that to me.

Model Reviewed: Adams Ovation

I have not been able to hit my fairway clubs for about 6 years, I am age 55 and thought it was just old age. With the Adams Ovation I now have the confidence with my fairway metals. The Ovation 3 metal 15 degree now allows me to go for it on par 5's before I had to lay up. The distance with this club averages in the 220-230 range, the ball flies off the clubhead straight, high and lands soft. Thanks Adams I should be in the 70's in a short time.
