Stunning driver. Oozes confidence when you set up over it. The Bi-matrx shaft does a fantastic job of keeping everything in line and it lets you go for it. great carry and roll. Havent tried many titanium drivers but got this going so much better than a deep red for example. Gained 10 - 20 meters over my previous Cobra steel head driver.

I used the Smart 3-metal for driving most of the time in 2001. I then bought the ST 10* driver and never thought I''d put one (a driver) in my bag, haven''t used one in 8 years. THe ST Driver, for me, took a little time to learn how to use and when. I''m still cautious about when and what situations to use it in. I absolutely love the 3-metal and can hit it off the tee or in the fairway, a very soft feel at impact, I can feel where the head is throughout my swing. Looking forward to working more with the driave in 2002

I tried all the new drivers (callaway vft, deep red, 975j, tm 320) found after getting over the initial feeling of swinging a "senior" club that playability was super and working the ball fairly easy. The only downfall of the club was the occasional ballooning shot.

When i first tried this club out, it was at a store that had a driving range, and i copared it to all of the other big drivers and this one hit the straightest out of all of them. I then thought, this is the club for me. As it turns out, it is an on and off club, seems to feel different from time to time, its probably mostly my fault for making a bad swing but it seems pretty inconsistent. I also prefer heavier clubs, and this club feels very light compared to all other drivers that ive tried. Ive noticed that i do hit heavier drivers straighter. Its an overall good club though, i thought that off center hits would be straighter, but of course with less distance, as it turns out, off center hits go very far, but not straight, if the ball is heading out of bounds, it will be way out of bounds. Im thinking about getting a 975J instead, becuase i am now a more knowledgeable golfer and i know that i need to have a shaft that fits me, and the bi-matrx doesnt seem to fit me, but i didnt realize that when i bought the club. But if you want a long club, this is it. The club just doesnt fit my game in and out every day.

Absolutley THE best driver I've ever hit. I went to a demo day not even looking for a driver, but once I hit about 20 balls, I KNEW I had to have it! Hit it way to well not to have it in my bag! Being that I am a high handicapper, I often feel intimidated by my driver, but feel ENTIRELY confident holding this one! I gained about 10 to 15 yards in length (about 230-240yds) and an unbelievable amount of accuracy! Has a great solid feel at impact and a great sound! Unbeleivable club for me! And now I'm looking at the GT irons!

Great combination with the Bimatrx shaft this driver is a killer. The sound at impact is a little thin but yet sweet and when hit spot on, you can feel the ball take off like a rocket. Highly recommended for those who chase after the latest technology, this driver is definitely a handsome companion. Very consistent and straight drives off the tee.

Well, at first..I didn't think I would like it -- I'm, more used to a steel shaft...but, after hitting the 15th practice ball...My speed has picked up..my distance went from 230 to 260 yrd's -- and man, The accuracy is straight, dead and true... --- And on the course it's a burner..This is a very forgiving club ..and most of times I need it, on the long narrow fairway's in FL...and it's as consistent ..as April 15th -- I use a regular flex now instead of the more rigid... All I can say now is, I love it.... --- I would like to know how others feel --- this sure smokes the Cobra King I had....and more accurate -- but of course -- I'm no Tiger -- l...o...l....

What a fine club. I like the look, the control of the Bi-Matrix shaft and the overall performance of the club. I have hit other clubs that ballon in flight but not this one. What a great stick. What won me over was the overall setup. This is one of few dirvers that is square at setup. I have grown tired of the closed or shut face on many of todays drivers. With this club just lock and load right down the middle. Try it and see for yourself!

Model Reviewed: Adams ST Driver 10* Regular

While I didn’t end up choosing this driver I felt that it was worthy of a few words. I tested the ST 10* Reg against the Deep Red and the Taylor Made 320. I chose the Deep Red…. It was a very difficult decision and I am still not sure that I made the right choice. The Adams ST is a great club – I demo’d it twice on the golf course and several times on the range and it always provided long high hitting with the best drives around the 280 yrd mark. However, I did tend to push shots right and got the occasional balloon shot which is annoying.

All three of these clubs are excellent and I would be happy with any of them – but in the end I opted for the Deep Red fat shaft, as it was the most consistent and even when I hit a duffer it ended up on the fairway at around 200 yds. I love the looks of the Adams and the feedback from the shaft is as good as any. It is easy to hit and generates confidence at address – I still might end up with one of these drivers one day!
