Cleveland Launcher Titanium Fairway Woods

Cleveland Launcher Titanium Fairway Woods

DESCRIPTION

Made from lightweight 6-4 titanium, these fairway woods have a lower and deeper center of gravity that helps to create a higher ball flight and more forgiveness on off-center hits.

Have to agree with everyone I have read about these fairway woods. I had a 4 wood / 7 wood combination of the steel lauchers that I liked a great deal. I tried one of the titatnium one on a whim not thinking there would be much of a differnce. It isn't night and day, but the titanium is more forgiving and thus more consistent and a little longer. The 15 degree is a great stick to use on the fairway, or the tee. On a narrow fairway I go with this off the tee every time. On average it is just as long as my driver with much greater consistency. From the fairway they get the ball up in the air and are a very consistant distance. The 5 wood is great for long par 3s. Again, great consitancy and very high. Stop on the green like a mid iron. I have the stock shafts in stiff flex and they feel great. I would agree you don't want to jump on them, but I never have felt I needed to. Just a good swing, and you wont be dissapointed.

I bought the 13 degree to replace my callawy steelhead III. The stock shaft was a stiff and I found it to be to soft and the ball balooned on very aggressive swings. I had the club reshafted with a ust proforce 65 pured shaft and this made a world of difference. Now I am hitting the ball with a mid to low ball flight. This is a very forgiving club and it is easy to work the ball from right to left. It is extremely long, I am hitting it 275 and my swing speed is in the 110 mph range. If you are having a hard time controlling the driver as I was this may be the club for you. Order it with a custom shaft as the stock shaft is far to soft and has a very low kick point for the aggressive player. I paid 249 at golf usa and bought the shaft from golf smith.

Wow! That's what I said on the very first swing with this club after I took it out of the shipping box and sped to the range to try it out, and its what I've said nearly every time I've hit it since. I play 3 wood a lot--and now, probably too much! Its almost impossible to mis-hit this club, and it goes straight and farther than any other 3 wood I've owned. In fact, I hit into a group twice the other day--I still can't believe how far this club strokes it! Get it--you won't be sorry.

Bought this 3 wood after DITCHING the new Cobra SZ with the nippon shaft. After reading the 2004 GOlf magazine test review, I gave the Cleveland a try. Great feel is the best attribute, with mid trajectory, and good distance. I do feel, however, that better players might look to a better than stock shaft it comes with. The fujikura, stiff, just seems a little weak for me, but I make it work because I like the club.

Folks, these are simply the best fairway woods I have ever hit. They require very little effort to produce solid penetrating shots and they give you a lot of confidence at address. They're not cheap but fairly priced considering the performance your receive. I'm extremely pleased with them and my days of tinkering with numerous fairway wood combinations are over!

these clubs are truly hot!! purchased a 15 degree 3 wood to relace my titleist 13.5 degree 975f fairway metal which was hard for me to hit off of tight lies. I was willing to sacrifce some distance for a easier club to hit, well i got the best of both worlds. this club is 250 to 260 off the turf or tee, also ditched 2 iron in favor of cleveland 19 degree 5 wood. would recommend anyone wanting to purchase these clubs to not be scared to add loft to these clubs because the distance will be there. stock gold stiff shafts feel a little whippy at first, but allows you to groove your swing as you get used to the shaft.

I can crush the ball with these. The feel is outstanding and the accuracy is pinpoint. The clubs offer some forgiveness on miss hits. Easy to play from any lie. Nice high boring ball flight. The stock fugikura shaft is very stable. Par 5's in two are a breeze now. I can't say enough positive things about these sticks. Simply the best.

I've been looking to replace the Callaway Hawkeye 3+ that I've had in my bag for the past five years and had looked at every club except the Cleveland Launcher till I had a chance to demo one recently...that did it for me...great club. The Launcher has a simple look about it, the set-up is great and the ball comes off of the face like a rocket. I've been to the range and the course (three times) and the results have been excellent...the ball goes long and where you want it to! Trajectory is excellent and distance is longer than the Callaway Hawkeye that I had been using...a good ten yards plus. Even the headcover is good looking! Be sure you demo before you buy to be sure you get the right set-up for your swing and your game.
