I traded this club in by mistake and went back and repurchased it. One of the best fairway clubs available.

get this at discounted price, after few round s and getting use with it,realy surprise with the overal performance of this club, good distance,as long as my 3 wood, easy to hit, have a nice feel and sound, not the matalic sound of most callaway, more of crisp 'clik', all in all a very good fairway wood, more forgiving than the newer f-50 i have.

I bought the 3,4 and 5 on seperate occasions on eBay this winter and now have 8-10 rounds of play with them. I bought the Dynamic Gold Stiff shafts because I like steel.

Anyway, these are some of the nicest clubs that I have ever owned. I hit them much longer than any previous fairway wood and I can't seem to mis-hit them. Love these clubs and now I'm trying to purchase a 460 Driver (getting hard to find on eBay) to replace a Nike Ignite that I don't hit as pure as the Mizuno's

ok, Mizuno gets all the credit in the world for their Irons, and rightfully so, BUT no one ever thinks of Mizuno when it comes to the woods. I've been playing the Blue Rage woods for the last 3+ years and couldn't be happier - BUT, sadly, it was time to replace them and I got a great deal on a set of MP 001s..so I had to give them a shot. Don't know much about the factory shaft because I reshafted immediately with my favorite, Grafalloy Prolite. All I can say is they RULE!!! Heavy head (D3) great feel and superior distance. It was hard to take the Blue Rage out of my bag, but the MP's look great, feel great and hit the ball a mile. If you are a Mizuno fan you gotta give these a try. One last bit of advice...GET FITTED - it makes a difference!!

I love these clubs. They are exceptionally long and straight. The sound at impact is similar to a crack, which is a good solid sound and is likely a result of the composite construction. Prior to these, I was hitting a Cobra SS woods which are not as long but probably as forgiving. I've also tried the Taylor Made V steel woods which seemed to have very little feedback but the MP-001 is so solid. I have never had so much confidence in a fairway wood.

Model Reviewed: MP-001 #4 wood Graphite Regular

After trying and disliking the MX-23 irons, I was very pleased to find this Club to be everything that I wanted. AS i carry a 7 wood (Snake Eye II), I wanted the 4 wood instead of the 3 wood most players carry. Joy of joys, this 4 wood performs or should I say out performs most other 3 woods that I have tried. The MP-001 #4 wood has a smaller head than its #3 wood brother, and is thus far better to pick up off of the fairway - in fact, it looks very close to a rescue club in size....but is far longer off the 'hit'. It feels a fairly heavy club and you can certainly feel the Clubhead during the swing - IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A VERY EASY TO HIT WOOD THAT IS LOOOONGGG, BUY THIS BEAUTIFUL BEAST TODAY.

Rarely do you find a club that excels in looks, feel, distance, & accuracy like these do. These sit perfectly square at address with a gloss black finish that in direct sun lets the carbon fiber show thru. Feel is solid, with a noticable spring to the face as the ball leaves. Even shots hit up to 1/2" off center exhibit this feeling. Distance is about as good as it gets. Even the 580R TM and Sonartecs with the same shafts will not beat these (I've tried). With all the positives listed above, perhaps the best thing about these woods is they all but eliminate the left side of the course. Better players usual bad shot is a hook and these just want to go straight or slightly fade. These can be purchased with an upgraded shaft for $199 or less. I suggest a med/low kick shaft as the ball flight is medium even with one of these shafts.
