Nike T-40 - Tour Fairway Woods

Nike T-40 - Tour Fairway Woods

DESCRIPTION

While a great fairway wood can be a golfer''s favourite club in the bag, compensating for short drives, rescuing errant balls from the rough and inspiring confidence for that shot over the lake, a bad wood is just a well?meaning croquet mallet. With an innovative design that offers optimum distance, accuracy and trajectory, Nike Golf is going for greatness. The Nike T-40 Fairway Woods, made with club craftsman Tom Stites, represent Nike''s entry into fairway wood sales. After extensive research and feedback from professionals including David Duval, the T-40 series will be available in Oversized and Tour models.

Though I am partial to my Titleist 980Fs, I barrowed this club from my brother for a round and was surprised by how the ball jumped of the clubface. Off the deck I hit it 3 times between 240 and 260 (a little shorter than my 980F, but not that much). Off the tee, I drove the ball 270+ consistently (I didn't pull my driver out while I had the T-40). Very accurate and nice low trajectory. I would recommend this club if you are in the market for a fairway wood. I saw used one's at Golfsmith for $90 in Jersey (steel). Unused is about $100.

Customer Service

When I'm good enough to play with forged Nike irons, I'll call them.

i've been playing golf for just over a year and purchased new clubs a few monthes. i had a 5-wood that i had broken the shaft and replaced with steel. i hit the steel shaft much better, so when i went looking for new woods i wanted a steel shaft. i spent time looking and the nike's stood out because they had the stock shafts in steel and the nike speed steep shafts are very lightweight. i tested the tour woods and loved them. the smaller head gets through the rough and tall grass with some ease. the clubs are easy to shape; draw, fade. both clubs are very easy to get up in the air. i hit a 230 yd shot with the 3 wood that landed and stuck on the green. they are real versatile clubs, and the best fairway wood i've tried.

Absolutely the best fairway wood out there. 275 yards off the deck in calm conditions at sea-level. Accurate, workable, great mid-high trajectory for soft approaches. What else do you want from a club? And buy the steel shaft. Plenty of distance with much more feel and feedback than graphite. Stop reading this and get one!!!!!

Just bought it and used it about 5 times this season and I love it. Nice feel and I've added about 15-20 yards per hit. I bought the 5 wood regular/mid kick

If you can catch this thing in the sweet spot it will go and keep on going! I hit mine one day about 287 yards! It has great feel, a little unconsistant, but when you get ahold of it you may want to hold on to it a little longer.

absolutley awesome club, so easy to hit, its unbelievable. bought this club after reading other peoples reviews and boy were they right. lent it to my 7 handicapper friend, he took one shoot and fell in love with it straight away. if you struggle to hit consistently those 200 yrd fair way shots or those 180 yard plus par threes, buy one of these

I RECENTLY TRADED IN MY TAYLOR MADE V-STEEL 3 WOOD FOR THE NIKE. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST HITTING 3 WOOODS I HAVE USED. I USED IT OFF THE TEE 3 TIMES THE OTHER DAY ON SHORTER PAR 4'S AND WAS VERY IMPRESSED. EASY TO WORK THE BALL EITHER WAY AND THE FEEL IS VERY SOLID. I AM HITTING THE NIKE 20 YARDS FURTHER THAN THE TAYLOR MADE. IT ALSO IS A VERY FORGIVING CLUB.

I absolutely love this club. It is the best three wood i have ever hit. Even at my demo session i was having great luck with it. I'm only 15 years old so i don't have the distance that other players with this club have, but i consistently hit this puppy 200-215 yds.
