Titleist 975F Fairway Woods

Titleist 975F Fairway Woods

DESCRIPTION

The 975F is the ultimate combination of size and weighting in a fairway metal, producing a sweet, solid feel and sound. The lower center of gravity and increased face roll provide the proper launch angle and easy-up playability. The internal weighting is forward biased to reduce spin and produce a flatter downrange trajectory, the hallmark of all Titleist 975F fairway metals. The leading edge is beveled and radiused and the sole is crowned along the center for playability from all types of lies.

Recently switched to Titleist and love them. The 5 wood lofts just came available this fall and you cannot get a better wood at address. They set-up so square which you will not find with other woods especially Callaway. The Callaway clubs set-up so closed to make the player think they eliminated there slice. Also, play the Titleist 13.5* 3 wood. Is very solid off the tee, and very playable off the fairway. Play with the new version with the Graffaloy fairway shafts in stiff. The shafts are perfect weight for these clubs, and add distance. Go demo.

For better players than me only. Low, single diget handicappers. Extremely accurate on good swings, but penalizes bad swings to the extreme.

I live in okc where it is always windy and I needed a strong 3 wood to keep the ball below the wind.So I bought this club.It is very accurate and gets good distance. easy to hit on and off the tee.I got it at a pretty good price under 200 dollars. GREAT CLUB.
But who knows maybe this isn't the club for you. TRY IT FOR YOURSELF

Own the new model 13.5* with a EI-70 stiff shaft. Much better than any Taylor Made (most TM produce a dull clunk sound) and the EI-70 shaft gives it that extra kick. Also, great accuracy.

This is the best farway wood I have ever owned, by far. Incredible ball flight. Nice little draw. I have been able to hit this club since my first swing. Get One!

I could not agree more with Mr. Bonner's assessment... I was in love with the club when it debuted last year... I was in the market for a new fairway wood and loved the club's looks. Simply put it has no... or rather TERRIBLE feel, feels very dead, much worse than any major brand club I've ever hit and I've hit them all. I'm a 1 and tend to carry my Steelhead 3+ in the 240-250 range... couldn't believe how bad it felt, I tried all different shaft options... it seemed to only be flying 220ish. YUCK! ...just got back from the PGA Show and heard some grumblings in the Titleist booth about some "mistakes made" in the head design, and some forthcoming changes to be made... the club is drop dead gorgeous, if they can make it pop it'll be a winner, try again when they re-release it.

Great club off the tee. I can hit it 240 down the center on a tight driving hole. The cub is great off the fairway aswell. Best 3 wood I have ever used.

I recommend this club HIGHLY. Extremely solid club. Feel is excellent. Heavy club head, which causes me to slow my swing down. I find it hard to miss and hard to hit the ball anywhere but straight. Demo this club -- it may be worth your time and money.

I hate listening to these "Scratch" golfers or "70 shooters" that claim about 300 yard drives. Do you all know how long 300 yards is? Tiger averages UNDER 300 since he has been out on tour!
Anyway, about this club,
PARKEWR DIRE from ND with the 70 shooting, GEOFF from MN in the 70's, and WILLIE from Chi-town in the 80's. For all of you guys that have snow on the ground from fall through early spring, leaving you 4-5 GOOD months of golf to be CONSISTENTLY shooting in the 70's (e.g. 72 76 78 74 75 71 78 84 even with the bad round = 75.71 maybe some of ya'll are reconsidering your 7 handicaps for 16's) so with those 5 months of playing golf even if you aren't the best long ball player I don't care how good your short game is you have to be able to put a good swing on the ball and have a solid consistant swing. BILL form CT put it best "good swingers only apply." It is probably too much club for most I use the old bore-through model, the newer style is a little more forgiving but I like what I have, so why fix it when it is not broke?
GREAT CLUB, Ballstrikers only apply. The new ALDILA H-M 2000 is a beautiful shaft look it up I highly suggest it.

when i first got this club i hit the crap out if it, very long and very straight. however, now i am not so happy with it. i still hit it great most of the time out of the fairway, however i have a tendency to pop it up and/or pull it and i am a low ball hitter. i would normally think i was making bad swings but i am playing the best golf of my life right now, playing about scratch. perhaps i am not used to the shallow face because i also play a 975d. nevertheless, it's a good a hopefully it;s my swing not the club. i would buy the 13.5 instead of the 14.5 if i had it to do over.
