Titleist 975F Fairway Woods

Titleist 975F Fairway Woods

DESCRIPTION

The 975F is the ultimate combination of size and weighting in a fairway metal, producing a sweet, solid feel and sound. The lower center of gravity and increased face roll provide the proper launch angle and easy-up playability. The internal weighting is forward biased to reduce spin and produce a flatter downrange trajectory, the hallmark of all Titleist 975F fairway metals. The leading edge is beveled and radiused and the sole is crowned along the center for playability from all types of lies.

I bought this club about a month agao. I have played three rounds and now believe this is my best club in my bag. I have been hitting it off the tee recently and have been more consistent than with my Steelhead driver. I'm still getting about 240-250 off the tee and it's only an 18.5 degree. This club has made me shop for a 975D or maybe even a 975J. Titleist clubs are definately working for me, who knows if they'll work for you.

Best fairway wood I've ever hit. I'm usually a steel shaft player, but I tried graphite because that's all they had left. Never seen a ball go straighter and longer.

Anyone who says that the Titleist 975F club is not good needs to go find another sport because they obviously do not know how to tell a good club from a bad club. This is one of the best if not the best club I have ever hit. As long as you can hit the ball near the center you will not have any problems with this club. I recommend it to people who shoot below 85. One other thing, all you guys who say you shoot in the 70's or are Scratch golfers need to quit saying how you hit it 300 yards everytime. I mean, c'mon, Tiger Woods, one of the longest hitters in the world only averages about 295 per shot. So I don't think that some recreation player will be out driving Tiger anytime soon.

I pretty much suck at hitting fairway woods. I like my Tightlie 4-wood as it is easy to hit. I bought this bitch cause she looks good and sits mighty pretty. I think I am going to like her. I put the Bi-Matrix True Temper stiff shaft in the place of the stock regular steel. Time will tell but she show looks good...... More to come

I just played my first 2 rounds with the 975F 18.5, with stiff steel shaft and it was the best club in my bag (and there's a lot of them in there!). I've played this game on and off for about 20 years and I've never felt comfortable with a fairway metal until now, granted I do hit my long irons a long way so I've been able to kinda get away without it. But with his dart shooter I can't begin to tell you how excited I am about the upcoming season. Thank you, thank you, thank you Titleist.

Customer Service

Titleist customer service sucks. I've e-mailed them several times regarding my Scottie putter and they never answer. But, I guess that's Titeist for you...hard at work on their products and too busy to talk to their customers.

Model Reviewed: Titleist 975f 13.5 stiff steel

This club is great. It is a little heavy (w/a steel shaft) but the weight helps the club stay online. Even with a 13.5 degree head it still hits relatively high, but the distance you get is amazing. This is the easiest thing to hit off the deck, and it just launches off the tee. I would highly recommend that you buy a 975f, it will surely improve your game immensely.

Simply put, this is the absolute best wood on the market right now. I have tried the entire line of Titleist fairway woods, and all of them when combined w/ the Prolite shaft are without a doubt the best feeling, most forgiving, most accurate woods on the market today. Don't get caught up on all the hype about the Ping I3 or any of the poorly manufactured Callaways. I have tried every fairway wood available on the market today and none of the come close to the 975F.

WOW! Distance, trajectory, holds the green. Straight and workable, not that hard to hit clean either.
Looks small works big.
