I had to think twice about writing this, as it's almost like a secret that you don't want to get out. - Top Flite Intimidators are the best value in golf clubs.

I first hit a 3 wood that my friend's wife bought. She gave it to him as a present. I actually made a little fun of him for having it, me being a ping snob. He said try it, before you hate me for it. I proceeded to hit it straight down the middle 320 yards. (Remember its a long shafted 3 wood) I thought it was a fluke. Over the next 3 rounds of golf with my buddie, I hit the most consistent shots in my life. I loved the club. My friend gave it to me as he said the club and I were meant for each other.

My 22 year old son was stealing it out of my bag, so I got some for him on ebay - for $20. The club is a true wonder, and how its not widely popular is a mystery, everyone that hits it LOVES it.

I have the driver and 3, and now I'm looking for the 5.

I got this club for a steal on ebay, they are dirt cheap and i dont quite know why. i hit this club great, nice and straight. the only thiing is that i wish the club head was a bit bigger, i feel i am losing a touch of distance to my other 3 woods but i am way more accurate. The feeling is awsome when you hit one good and the result is beutifully straight, pretty to watch..

You don't know me but trust me anyway. All of these 400 series are awesome!! The fairway woods can be hit out of anything, anything. long and straight, don't overswing, you don't need to. There are no better woods made. Don't use the driver unless you hit straight, this is a long long driver, I mean silly long, really. Get them off ebay for peanuts. BEST EVER MADE without a doubt. Get one while you still can.

I have no idea. I wouldn't let them out of my site long enough to find out!! I know they don't make them any more. Fools, silly silly fools

Nothing is similar to these. They are like a high end fairway wood, with a Cleveland wedge melded into the sole (spoiler)aka bounce. Sounds funny, but they work.

The best 5 wood out there! I''ve tried lots of fairway woods and this one is the best fairway wood in my bag. Its gotten me out of very thick stuff. The spoiler sole really works! I bought this club brand new a year ago for a great price. Can''t wait to try the 3 wood.

I could hit this club from the rough with confidence most of the time bt. 200-210 yards. Even when I hit a knock-down to get it out of the thick stuff it takes off with a ping noise. the ball it goes. The best club in my bag. Get used to it and your 2 & 3 irons can stay at home.

Have the 8.5, S90 driver. Also have a 975D 6.5 deg. X-stiff Manage to get abt the same ballflight and distance with the TF, but much easier to hit. You kan work the ball easier with the 975, but off center hits result in much shorter drives than the TF. The TFI400 is much more forgiving, and I manage to get more drives on the fairway at +250m than with th 975. I'll se if I'll sell the 975 or keep it, but for now I'm i love with the TFI400,-Works for me!!;-).

Model Reviewed: Top Flite Intimdator 400 5,7 Wood

While the Top Flite Intimidator 400 series woods works for other golfers, they did not really work for me. I had purchased two fairway woods, a 5-wood with a "R" flex, and a 7-wood with a "S" flex. At first it seemed like the 7-wood was my "money club". I was using it off the tee and the fairway with some good results, but it was short-lived. I quickly became inconsistent with the club. I never really got used the 5-wood, and therefore rarely used it in play. The problems I had with these clubs were that they were extremely difficult(for me) to align to the target due to closed clubface. So I had a devil of a time trying to align my body. To swing these clubs you must have a slow, rhythmic tempo. Golfers with quicker more aggressive tempos, I feel, will have problems hitting these clubs. The appearance, color and name of the clubs reminds one of the great Dale Earnhardt, Sr.(God rest his soul, and bless his family) They are "imtimidators" are alright, but they require a slow swing.

The best wood I have ever hit! I wish they wouldn't have discontinued it. I only have the 3 wood but wish I had the driver. The ball explodes off the face. I can consistently get 250-260 yards out of it, sometimes as much as 290! They are easy to hit and forgiving. Unfortunately I broke the shaft on it hitting a tee shot. I like the club so much I plan to get it reshafted. I have yet to hit a club that I like better. If you find this club, it will probably be cheap, and I suggest you buy it. I like the feel of it better than the Calloways or the Taylor Mades. It makes a beautiful ping sound when you hit it.
