Got these for xmas when they came out and have played them ever since. PW is strong I think, I hit it too far. I am thinking about making lies more upright on 3-8 irons. Great feel, can really work the ball - not something I am great at but fun anyway. I will play the ffor 10 more years at least. May have the reshafted.

Bought these clubs second hand as they were the pro's old clubs. Even after his use they were in excellent condition with some clubs looking like new. They have a fantastic feel and hit the ball true and straight. Maybe not as forgiving as a true cavity back, but will give you confidence as you grow with them. Excellent Brand new Nexus grips were included in the price!!!
Overall they play great and look superb at address. I would highly recommend you searching out a good s/h set.

Bought the origanal forged edge cavity- back irons used, 5 years ago. I have since tried 5 other sets of clubs. I even reshafted some clubs with Sensicore & Rifle shafts. Tried set of graphite Cobras and Rams. Nothing works as well as these original Edge irons. The are straighter and more consistant and fit my swing better then any thing I have tried. Keep coming back to them and wonder why I ever changed. ( I like to experiment.)

An ok club for the price, but the sweet spot is just too small. I used my fathers clubs which cost about 20 bucks more and what felt like a bad shot w/ the edges went straight and far. I am currently looking for new clubs, but these were very good when I was hitting the ball well (like any club should), if anything it made me a better golfer because of the small sweet spot. Not my recommended club though

I have used these clubs for over 5 years and have liked them since the day they came out of their wrappers. Unfortunately I have about worn out the faces playing 2-3 rounds per week and am now looking for new sticks. I regret not buying another set of these when a lot of stores had them at clearance prices.

Excellent club design for someone wanting playability. Forgiving yet workable with a good swing.

I have had my Edge's for more than 10 years, and I keep coming back to them time and time again. Great feel and distance with lots of forgiveness.

Very light headed would best describe these clubs, they are very hard to control and have a hard tendency to hook the ball.

Nothing similar, I used to play Mizuno TC 29 and are a much more stable set of clubs, I hardly ever missed a green, but with the Hogans I had to really learn to play around the greens.

I bought these clubs used about five years ago while playing junior college golf. Played with them thoughout my college golf days then bought into the hype of the new callaways. The Callaways are a little more foregiving but offer very little feedback through the clubface. After 6 months I went back to my Hogans. If the feel of hitting a forged iron flush keeps you coming back to the course these are hard to beat.
