HALO 1i 14 *
I don't carry a 3 wood, but I needed a go to club for windy days and long par 5s. The first time I hit this club I new it was a good purchase. Very easy to hit and what an awesome penetrating ball flight. I tried it on a uphill 300 yard par 4 and came up 10 yards short. Use it on windy days to keep the ball down, works great. If you have trouble with your long irons or just want to replace some woods, the HALO is for you. I've even used it around the greens for putts from the fringe. I was shocked to see how short the club is, especially since I thought it would be about the same size as a 1 iron. It is actually about the size of a 5 iron. Customer Service Bought this from TGW, there are always great. I've never had any trouble with them. I use them a lot! Similar Products Used: Bazooka 1iwood, cracked the face on! Cleveland Halo 3i 22* w/ steel
After trying this and the cobra baffler..i couldnt decide on what to get. I have cleveland irons so i went with the halo. what a great choice. Im only 15 years old but I know a good club when i hit one. I took this on the range the other day after i bought it. I tryed it with the g5 ping just to see if there was much difference. I hit the ping 20+ yards further but couldnt keep it in the short stuff. My halo I can only hit about 230 but it works for me, its got the regular steel shaft and i hit it dead straight. I love the little click sound when you hit it to. It was priced at $125 but my pro gave it to me for $110. Good deal being the g5's are $169 or so. EXCELLENT CLUB CLEVELAND Customer Service havent used it Similar Products Used: ping g5, cobra baffler, ft-3, heavenwood, snake eyes wal mart deal, just about everything... |

I am not a fan of rescue clubs however, when I tried this club it was real easy to hit. Other rescue clubs tended to ballon (go up high and drop) and you lose distance. Not so with the Halo. Plus you can double up as a club to chip around the green. I went with a steel shaft as graphite can be tricky to select for your swing plus old fashion. I am hitting the club about 260-270 yards consistently. If you are looking for a rescue club, you should be looking at the Halo. Kuddo's to Cleveland. This is quite simply the greatest club ever made. Even half buried in the rough this club is superb. I haven't hit a bad shot with it yet and I'm not great! I'm reaching long par 5s in 3 with this club with a nice easy rhythmic swing. It truly is a high handicapper's dream. Customer Service Not used Similar Products Used: Cobra Baffler

Halo 2i Stiff
This is my first club review, but I was so impressed with this club I HAD to share the wealth! Having borrowed a friend's clubs on a business trip last month, I discovered the Taylor rescue clubs. After hitting a few very solid shots I knew I had to have one. My local discount golf shop had an entire line-up and I decided to give the Taylor & Ping a try. The young guy helping me out insisted I try the Cleveland as well...I was not disappointed. My trajectory was lower, but distance and forgiveness were much more consistant with the Cleveland. I've consistently hit this club 210 - 225 yards and busted a crusher almost 270 a couple of weeks ago (Wheaties I guess). In short, it's a great club and I highly recommend it. My excellent Taylor 5 Wood is gathering dust in my garage now...a victim to the Halo's influence on my game! Customer Service Don't know, have never used it! cleveland halo 3i
Like other cleveland products ... excellent club. This spring I started to play with cleveland launcher irons 4 - dw, and I improved my game from low 90's to mid 80's. Two weeks ago I replaced my Taylor Made Rescue 19* club with Halo 3i, and now I'm hitting long and straight no effort at all... amazing... I'm averaging 220 yrds with Halo 3i, Taylor Made 195 yrds and always little shaky. The club felt good right away. I can highly recommend for the players like me, who are just not that confident to excute an excellent long iron shot. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Rescue club |

HALO 1i (16 degree), graphite, stiff
First time I hit it - perfectly straight and 230 yds, from the light rough! I got it to replace my Callaway GBB II 4-wood (hook monster). Straight (and great) off the tee on short par 4s, and a real "savior" when I mis-hit a driver (not too often, but it happens). I can't say I can hit it too well out of heavy rough (I doubt anyone can), but off the tee, off the deck, and out of the light rough it's one nice piece. I read several reviews complaining about the high-torque standard-issue graphite shaft. I can't say I've had a lot of trouble there - no dispersion issues. I did have the standard-issue grip replaced with a Golf-Pride Tour Velvet Midsize, but that's personal preference. It always hits a long and straight ball for me, if I do my part. Try one for yourself!

Got the 2i as a birthday present and it's been amazing how easy it is to hit this club. I shoot in the 90s so I'm no expert but off the tee I can probably carry 190m + another 10-15m of roll.

Halo 3i stiff
I've owned my 3i for about 3 weeks now and it's everything everyone says it is. It's straight, it's forgiving, it's high and it's amazing from thick grassy lies. There's a par 5 on our course with an extremely elevated green, 2 bunkers protecting the front and where the drives almost always finish on a downhill lie. Before buying the Halo, I've had no problem with the distance to reach the green in 2 (it's only about 413 metres/455 yards) but I find it hard to get the ball high enough with my 19 degree Launcher Steel to carry the front bunkers. The Halo changes all that. It's close to the same total distance as the Launcher (maybe only 180 metres total on a flat fairway in still conditions whereas I probably hit my Launcher closer to 190), but the Halo will carry just as far as the Launcher and with much higher elevation. I've flown the front bunkers twice now.
