It took a couple of swings to get used to... but then it started to launch 240+ and straight. I have to say i was impressed. I had no problems getting flying a nice smooth trajectory with my 15 degree club face.
A true bargain... especially after spraying 460cc clubs all over the place. It looks like i'll be keeping it in the fairway and in my bag.
Pity they went out of favour.

I found these in the discontinued section of my local retailer, though there are a few on EBay. These are the best hybrid clubs I have ever swung. Tremendously easy to get into the air, long and straight. The 24 degree gets me 200+ yards 8 out of 10 times. The 15 degree has replaced my 3 Wood. I am GIR or under on every Par 5. I can honestly say that these clubs save stroke off my card. I've tried the Tight Lies, CPRs, Rescue, Heavenwood, Edge and Sonartec MD and none of them were as long, consistent and as easy to hit as these bargain sticks. Closest hybrid in production in feel, consistency and results is the Touredge JMax Bazooka Tour Iron Wood Hybrid. If you are looking for inexpensive hybrids to replace your fairway woods, get on EBay and find yourself a set of these.

This is one sweet stick. A true weapon on the par 5''s! I got on for eagle 3 times last round, by hitting 230+ yards off the fairway and dribbling the ball onto the green. Good on long par 3''s, tee it up, so it doesn''t go too far!! It is only 30 to 50 yards shorter than my driver!!

Saw this in the used club bin at Golf USA and after swinging it a few times decided to try it on the computerized simulator. Simulator said I was hitting it 230 and straight. Got my 5 wood out of the trunk for comparison and it wasn't nearly as accurate or consistent.
Played today and hit 10 solid shots with results like the simulator with it- used off tee on tight par 4's and in place of fairway woods on par 5's
This is now my favorite club.
My 5-wood is history. I will probably replace my 3-wood with the 15* model

I got the club for a steal on eBay. I was looking for a club to replace my driver and 3 wood since I can't control my woods at all. As it came with the regular flex graphite shaft (40.5"), I could not hit this club to save my life. I was all over the place. I was disappointed, however, since I got a screaming deal on the club I decided to reshaft it to see if it would make a difference.

I reshafted it with a True Temper Release shaft cut to 39.5". The shaft made a world of difference in accuracy and length, it was the perfect compliment to my slower swing speed and even tempo. I have since been hitting this club long (260+ yards) and straight. I play a lot of 9 hole courses with short (260-300yard) par 4's and this club is perfect for those holes. I no longer carry a driver or a 3 wood.

Overall this is an excellent club and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It took me a while to find the right shaft combination but since then it has an asset to have in my bag!!

I find this a very easy club to hit; with much better accuracy than my 5 wood out at 185-200 yards. The bulge & roll seem to make this club extra forgiving. Prior to shelling out $150 for this, I also tried hitting the cobra baffler, adams i-wood and taylor's rescue wood. Personally, this club wins hands down in terms of distance, accuracy and forgiveness of off-centre hits.

This is my second posting on this club. Now that I've had this clubs a few months and had some lessons in between I can no longer give this club a positive review. I can't seem to hit it consistently and it requires a swing that takes me away from the even tempo that I'd like to maintain. Not a bad club, but I think I'll stick with a fairway wood instead.

For being a not so good golfer I found the Cleveland Launch Iron very easy to hit with accurate control. Especially off the tee.

I had long been interested in combining the forgiveness of a fairway wood with the accuracy of an iron. Being a pretty consistent ball striker, particularly with the irons, I just assumed that the Cleveland Launch Iron would be the match that I was looking for.

At the range, I was bitterly disappointed. I couldn't even manage ONE really good shot, let alone consistency. Whether teed slightly or off the deck, I was hopelessly inept with this stick. Perhaps it was my swing, I thought. I grabbed my 3 iron and proceeded to lace 5 shots down the middle. Then I grabbed my 3 wood and did the same. However, when I once again tried the Launch iron, the same shoddy shots flew pitifully from its club face. I had attempted to manufacture a degree of feel with the club for a short time, always failing however. Ultimately, I forced myself to sell it. As a matter of fact, tinkering with my swing while trying to find the right touch with the Launch Pro, actually messed me up for a while! Thankfully, it didn't take long to get my swing back.

I'm sure that my problems with this club were related to my swing exclusively, and are not indicative of the club's quality and usefulness. So, perhaps another person would absolutely love it. I just wanted to relate my troubles with the hope that they are taken as a warning... try, try, try... BEFORE YOU BUY! :-)
