A pure shot is never more elusive than with these unforgiving blades. This said: a pure stroke is never more rewarding with any club yet to be held in these hands. A good pass is a stroke of genious and will instantly make you feel immortal with these Cleveland's. However, these are few and far between. IF ,and I mean dedication-wise IF, you are ready for the next step- let these be the vehicle that takes you there. 214-228-4690 ring me. RE

'WOW' these irons are just AWESOME. They are my first set of bladed clubs and will definately be in my bag for a very long time. I was wary at first to change from cavity back irons, as the majority keep mis-informing us that you have to be a scratch to single handicap golfer to use them, but this is simply not true (mind you it probably helps!!). What I do agree with is you need to have a decent swing. I chose the Cleveland TA1 because of reading the many favourable reviews and because I had the opportunity to purchase a used set, and its without doubt the best decision of my golfing life. They are the best feeling irons I've used and believe me I've used a few!! I find them long, accurate and reasonably forgiving (as with any other cavity back/oversize/combo/muscle back iron, a mis-hit is a mis-hit no matter what you are using!!). All I can say is to try them out first, then buy them. Oh and bye the way who wants to buy my Callaway X-14s!!?

For the life of me, I will never undestand why Cleveland TA-1's are never placed in the same league as the other popular forged blades on the market ie:Mizuno Mp-14,29,33 Ben Hogan's Apex and Titleist blades. I have own my Clevelands less than a year and I have played my best golf since owning these puppies. My iron play has greatly improved because blades give you immediate feedback.I'm able to play in the 70's as long as I putt halfway decently. For the money these clubs can not be beat. I saw a set on ebay in near new condition that sold for less than $200. I currently own Ben Hogan's 1999 Apex and Mizuno mp-14, and I plan on purchasing the Mizuno mp-29's. Although both the Hogans and the Mizunos feel great, I prefer the Clevelands because of the smaller club head. The smaller club head enables me to work the ball more easily. The TA-1's are a great forged blade to start with when one decides to make the jump from cavity back clubs to blades.

After purchasing my Ta1's in January 2002 one year on i have only began to see vast improvements in my game. Moving from cavity back irons to blades is a big step and should only be taken if your confidence in your own ability is high. My season 2002 was poor by my standards only picking up one monthly medal shooting 72 i however i hope to be more prosperus in 2003. Buying bladed irons has vastly improved my ball striking and these irons are probably one of the most forgiving on the market tour proven and a great buy highly recommended

I'm 25, playing 3-4 rounds a week, and average about 85. these irons of course lack the crispness of the chrome model, but more than make up for it with feel, workability, and spin. Gunmeatal finish WILL rust. This is ok, they are supposed to, (like the RTG wedges). The amount of control this gives is nothing short of spectacular, (even the #3 stops on a dime), and With the feel of a large cavity back, they are very easy on the senses. Distance is good, and they carry a VERY serious look. If you've got a decent game and looking for a new set, don't leave these off your list of clubs to try!

One word to describe these clubs..SWEET! The feel and feedback on these clubs are incredible. I used to hit the Firesole Tours and the TA-5's. I lost a little yardage with the TA-1's compared to the TA-5's, but the TA-1's are a more solid club. Knockdowns can be hit with ease, and draws and fades are fairly easy. Long irons tend to have a left to right ball flight, but the club frame at address is great. Great looking and performing club. Put the Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip on the club and you got a winner. A+

these irons are really good they feel solid, fly low and have controlled spin. I am only 14 years old ad play off a handicap of 4 and am being constantely told that if I could hole more 10 foot birdie puts which are set up by my good iron play I would be a scratch golfer. I really like these irons and recomend them to any golfer who strikes the ball well.

a beautiful looking set of clubs. handsome clean-cut chrome finish. i was hitting cavity backs few years back but, with a strange term of events, borrowed a friend's set of mizuno mp-29s. since then, i got the bug for blades. so after trying out several blades on the market, namely hogan apex's and etc, i finally ended up with the ta-1. hits had to be precise with them, i struggled a few rounds at first but after correcting the lie to 2 deg flat, it was gratifying. they are a little forgiving on toe hits and fades are common especially in long irons but these clubs really made sure that you have to know what you're doing, as far as working the ball. draws and punch shots are great and easier to hit. mid to short irons have great accuracy plus due to the smaller heads and thinner topline, it's much easier to muscle the ball out of rough. on par 5s, the 3 iron are a great confidence booster after puring your 2nd shot. but they will let you know immediately with stinging feedback, with mis hits. the trajectory is a bit lower than apex's, and especially mp-33s. i have lowered my rounds consistently with them. these clubs has a very good, confirmed soft feel to them, but not as soft as apex though. as with other reviews i've noticed, these blades does add a few yards to your game, but only after puring it. overall, the accuracy of the ta-1s is what it's all about. cleveland makes great clubs at a very affordable price, way below hogan's and mizunos. these are well worth the considerations if you're in the market for muscle backs

These are some quality clubs. I would say that they are average to a little above average in length. Even though there is some of the least amount of offset you will find, even in blades, they seem to like to hit the ball to the left (draw). These clubs also impart a great deal of spin and are great around the greens. I would recommend these clubs. Also, they run about $150 to $200 less than other OEM blades... that's a bonus. These are good clubs that have enjoyed success on tour.
