I have been very happy with my Cobra Oversize Irons but was looking for a little more sporty clubs with smaller heads and less offset. After trying some Titleist, Ping and Taylor Made irons I saw a bargain set of CXIs at the local pro shop. I fell in love with these clubs. A lot more forgiving than the Titleist ones. At least the same distance than Ping and Taylor Made clubs (especially at off center - does happen a lot !!). For the value of money the best clubs around. The only area of improvement would be feel. I am fine with the short irons but the long ones could give more feedback. The set came with a gap wedge, which is my best friend.

i bought these irons at roger dunns. i tried out a set of taylor mades at the same time, and the difference was quite obvious. if i hit a bad shot with these irons, theres no doubt in my mind it was my swing and not the club. i love these clubs.

Since switching to these irons I have picked up a few strokes per round. Distance and control are superior to other clubs I have hit. Ive probably gained 5-10 yards per club. For a bidsized iron, they are very forgiving without giving up control and feel.

I'd originally intended to buy Gravity backs but preferred the look of the CXIs. Had also tried 981sl but found them too unforgiving for off centre shots. Have found the CXIs very forgiving & great for distance, though the strong offset on high irons tends to create too strong a draw. Another shortfall is the lack of feel in the PW making shorter than full club approaches to greens difficult to control. Low irons are exceptioal for playability, suiting both full blooded swings & knock down shots in windy conditions. I'd suggest purchasing a specialty wedge to compliment this set. Overall Pleasing to both touch & vision i'd reccomend these clubs to anyone wanting a high quality iron at a reasonable price.

I'm the beginner golfer who has been playing for 4 months. I tried many clubs(X-14,burner,etc.)which is very forgiveness and light but when their price are compared to CXI. It 's unbeatable and unbelievable. Man!! This is the firset class club, but the local price. I really enjoy and improve on them. Short irons (7,9,56 wedge) are awesome. My ball just strick on the green. TRY THEM BUT IT REALLY ATTEMPT TO FIND (DISCONTINUED already)

After 2 years of swinging a set of junk irons, I decided to shop for something with more appeal to both my game and the eye. I tried a variety of clubs, including Clevelands, Precepts, and a set of Callaways that would have cost me my first born. On a whim, I tried out a set of CXI`s that were at the local pro-shop for a year and had not sold. After a couple pointers from the pro on how to compemsate for the bigger off-set in these irons, I started making crisp contact with the ball. My approach to golf is of the straight and long school, and these clubs match it perfectly. I was amazed with the distance I got with these irons, especially the 5, with which I was dropping the ball between the 210 and 225 marker consistently, and straight where I was aiming. At the pro`s advice, I shipped them out to increase the shaft length and decrease the lie...they have only gotten better. As I have only 2 years of experience with golf, and insufficient talent to comment on the workability of these clubs, I will make only one statement: anyone looking for confidence-boosting, straight, long, game-improvement irons would be depriving themselves of a great potential club if they do not at least try the CXI`s

Very nice G-Back irons but now they are discontinued. Two years and they discontinue them.... you believe that? I lost a long iron and now I can''t replace it. Oh well I''ll get a new set of Hogan''s (I should be playing forged anyway) and not fall into the trap of buying a flavor of the month/year...whatever.

Called Cobra for a little help with the 4 iron they said "sorry boy, can we interest you in our new line" Yeah, Right.

No lie... I was a mid-90''s golfer at the begining of last summer. I bought these Cobra irons and worked with them and within 4 months I have maintained a mid/mid-high 80''s. I am sure ti is not all the clubs but man, they REALLY helped!

For the past 9 months I have been playing the gravity backs and loved them for the most part. I decided to upgrade and try the CXI's...it was love at first contact. Very, very good feel, good ball control, and everything just came off of the face like magic. These are straight, long and very consistent. If you want to improve your game & your confidence, then get a set of these! I can't tell you how great these feel!!!
