Probably would have got these clubs a long time ago had it not been for all the playa''s out there freaking me out over the fact that these clubs are only for scratch golfers. It was only through reading the reviews on this site that convinced me to finally purchase a set. I finally got to hit them today. I really hate the trite phrase "like a hot knife through butter," but I am really tempted to use it after hitting these babies. Unbelievable sweet feel and the forgiveness I think is great. I had been playing x-14 pro series and these are longer. Even the long irons are easy to hit. Don''t let anyone intimidate you from buying these. They are awesome and beautiful. I had been playing Titleist 990''''s for the past 9 months. The 990''''s were okay but they were lacking in feeling. So I ordered these from a guy on E-Bay who was offering to make a custom set for the winning bidder. I have to say that I am very impressed with these clubs. First thing out of the box you probably won''''t want to hit as the MP-33''''s have got to be the best looking club on the market. I mean suitable for framing looks! After getting over the fact that they were going to get dirty I went to the range. These clubs were definitely shorter distance wise than the 990''''s, but the feel was unreal! You can make these clubs do anything. Low shots, high shots, fades, draws, you name it. Miss hits are a bit harsh, but that is expected, they are blades. You suffer more distance loss than direction loss on miss hits. After having them a few weeks I had my local club fitter strengthen the lofts on 5 through 3 irons, the 6 through PW played at distances I''''m familiar with. Since the MP-33''''s are forged they can be adjusted fairly easily as far as loft and lie go. I am now able to play the "new generation" golf ball like the Pro V1. The new balls felt kind of hard on my Titleist 990''''s. My opinion, you''''ve never really felt a pure shot until you''''ve hit one on the center with blades. Its'''' addicting! Feels like you are throw the ball at the hole, like the balls is stuck to the club face for a while. MP-33''''s could be considered a game improvement club as you get out exactly what you put in. I''''m probably as good as I''''m going to get at golf, I got these just for the feeling they provide, especially on centered shots. These clubs are great. Customer Service Delivered in one after order was place, much faster than expected. Similar Products Used: Titleist 990 |

Just got my new set today. Took it to the range. So the first few thoughts abt the clubs. Easy to hit if your eyes stay with the ball. The ball flight is high.....and goes forever (I thot I will lose distance but was proven otherwise...previous club was cavity back with rifle 5.5). And the feel....the feel ....simply fantastic. The previous reviews were right abt the ability of the player to adjust and correct the swing if its not going right. Will review it again when i take it to the green. I bought a new set of MP33. It of course is as good as all the other reviews. But I noticed just after one practice session, the black lettering paint comes out from the sole of the clubs. That is the numbering 3, 4, 5 etc black paint dissapeared. Does anyone else has this problem? Or is it like that? |

I switched to use MP33 for 4 months. After playing for 10 rounds on course, I love these club not only because of the beautiful looking but also the feel and control. Agreed with most reviewers that you need to focus on the fundamental of the swing. Once you get used to this iron, you’ll love the performance – distance and direction. Highly recommend. None After several years toting around an old set of forged irons, I bought the Mizuno blades for enhanced feel and performance. Many golfers out there care only about lowering their handicaps at any cost. They all too quickly opt for clubs that compensate for swing problems rather than focus on improving their swing. As a feel player, I care more about striking the ball better than about scoring. By focusing on how well I hit the ball, I hope to see my scores fall as a result. That''s the primary reason why I got these clubs - to help me improve my swing. The feedback from off-center hits is just as informative as the sensation you get when you hit it flush. If you only care about about where the ball goes, and not how it got there, these blades are not for you. If you plan to work on improving your game over time (not overnight), don''t be afraid to try these sticks. That said, the performance aspect of these clubs is worth mentioning. With their heavier heads, these clubs can be hit from longer grass rather easily. The short irons work very well from tight lies. Compared to my previous clubs, the MP-33s are very accurate which instills greater confidence in my swing. When my shot goes offline, I can determine why and make the appropriate adjustments. They are beautiful clubs to look at and even sweeter ones to swing. They do get beaten up in your golfbag so I recommend buying some kind of headcovers when transporting them. None Dont let the "Know it alls" try to tell you that you should fear these clubs. The MP 33''s are the finest looking, feeling and performing golf club period. They will turn you (not force you) into becomming a better ball striker. It will not however be due to embarassing missed shots as some will tell you. Instead they are as forgiving as my Ping Berillium I3''s. The difference will be that a good shot will be like none ever experienced and a missed shot will for the most part still go straight, just resulting in a fraction of the proper distance an an instant feeling as to what went wrong. My game has dropped from a 14 to a 5 and the Mizuno MP 33''s are without a doubt the reason. I have played over a 150 rounds with them and each time I get a little better. Make no mistake; just because they look like a fine piece of jewelery in you hand does not mean that they are hard to play. If you''re ready to take your game to the next level... then this is the first and only non-gimick way to do it. If you are an 18 or better then get them and feel the magic. All of this will sound corny to anyone who has never played them. So I''ll leave it up to you. Customer Service NA Similar Products Used: NA |

None First of all, these clubs look so sweet. I got iron covers so that there won''t be any scratches on them. The thin sole gives you confidence that you can put the ball in the air. At first, they are very difficult to hit. I have a very flat swing. I have to swing in a conventional swing plane inorder to hit them properly. These clubs really forces you to swing properly, which i am looking for to improve my overall game. I recommend these clubs to anyone who is serious and committed in spending time to improve his game. They are heavy by the way. The clubhead of blades are really heavier so expect to swing harder with these clubs. Similar Products Used: Big bertha, Master model |
