People says the trajectory of this iron is low, but I think it's actually higher than most cavity back irons (I played i3 o-size - and game improvement clubs usually come with strong loft to enable golfers hit the ball longer). Similar Products Used: None |

WOW! I've been playing for three years and I my previous clubs were the old Cleveland Tour Action Reg. 588 blades. These MP-33s with X100 shafts are much easier to hit than the Clevelands, and they seem to be longer with the shorter sticks. Similar Products Used: Cleveland TA Reg. 588 Blades |

MIZUNO MP33 IRONS
These are beautiful irons. Extremely solid and well balanced. In order to thoroughly enjoy them, you must be swinging well. That can be difficult, and when you are not at your best the longer irons can be a real challenge. I find that I hit these clubs rather high and have some difficulty knocking the ball down. I also hit them rather short. Their strong suit is their feel and their exceptional accuracy. This season I pull one more club and hit it straight. Visually, they are stunning, but the paint on some of my irons has come off. That is a bit puzzling and frustating. Nevertheless, in my humble opinion, there are no finer irons made. I used to be a reasonable golfer about ten years ago (8 hcp.),and untill that time I played with blades (and persimmon woods). Because of a lack of time I lost much of my game. I decided to switch to cavity backs (Ping and then Callaway BB). What a terrible mistake! I kept a handicap of around 12 but my swing and ball striking abilities went completely down the drain. When I played the Old Course at St. Andrews a couple of weeks ago, I scored a round of 89 in excellent conditions (no wind). It showed me what a poor and lazy golfer I had become, with a sloppy and inconsistent swing. I decided to go back to basics and start playing blades again. I got my Mizuno MP-33s last week. And yes, they are not easy to hit. But what a fantastic experience to feel a good shot again! If you really love golf and want to improve your game, these are the best golfclubs you can get! I had doubt that I could hit a blade. From day one I have hit the MP-33s better than my Titleist 962s. My handicap has dropped from 14 to 8 in 3 months. I agree that you must have a decent stroke to begain with, however once you hit it well with these clubs you will strive for that feeling again. this will cause you to concentrate more on making a good swing. I have found these clubs to be one half club shorter than my 962s but, much better distant control and more spin with short irons. Just traded for a set of these. I dont find these clubs difficult to hit at all. Great feel, balance, weight distribution, and the cambered sole make these clubs as easy to hit as some cavity backs. I think they are easier to hit than the taylor 320 to use an example. Im not a person into this blade mystique vs cavity backs. I'll hit what works. Ive used pings , callys, you name it. The big edge I give the clubs is the feel of the short irons for scoring shots. It feels like you can hole out any chip or pitch. Similar Products Used: None |

first of all I perosnally think it's funny the people trashing these irons. If you shoot in the triple digits why are you playing blades. These clubs are a little different at first but ball flight and trajectory is nice. A great set of blades overall from mizuno Customer Service none yet Similar Products Used: apex, cleavland ta-1s/ta-3s, titliest 990b's |
