These clubs really are fantastic. I ordered them over the net 2 months ago, they weren't really out over here.I wasn't disappointed. Every time you look over the ball you feel that you are going to hit a solid shot and invaariably you do. The ball does go higher than with other clubs i tried but when hit well they really fizz and then land softly. If you are serious about buying a set, make sure that they are custom fit. The only reason I switched from my Ben Hogan Apex's was that i could get them custom fit as the Hogans were too short.
It would be better if you were already using blades or are single figures before you buy, it just makes the experience that more enjoyable. You have to have a consistent strike to perform well with these clubs and it will improve your game. The only drawback is that with them going higher it is harder to play in the wind and also the harder you hit it, the higher they go. Simply take more club to counter this and hit it softly and enjoy the shot. Ultimately these clubs bring the fun back in to the game for me. When you hit the long irons and see the ball fizzing and then climbing to land softly on the green, there is no better reason to have these clubs.

So pure, so sweet, very solid and fantastic looks.

Makes me feel like a better player just having these blades in my bag =O)

FEEL: ***** (Small sweetspot, but very solid and consistent feedback. Easier to hit than previous blade-models from Mizuno due to the slightly bigger head)

PLAYABILITY: ***** (No problem with finesse shots from 150m in, thanks to the sharp leading edge)

FORGIVNESS/ACCURACY: ***** (Extremely accurate. Very good balance during the swing. Decent result with off-centre shots.)

Even the long irons are quite easy to hit. and I will say that it´s not just scratch player who should be using this iron, but anyone up to 10 !!

Simply put...an awesome set of irons. I have played many sets of irons, from Ping Eye 2 and a custom set of Founders Clubs but always went back to blades. This set is the best of them all. All of the clubs are 7-10 yards longer than my old set of Wilson blades and as many of the people here say, they are always right on line when struck good (and not too bad on off center shots). No other clubs come close when it comes to the feel of these. I don't think it will be very long till I am back in the 70's again. A deffinate thumbs up to Mizuno!!!!

Customer Service

I put in a custom order for 1-PW and had the clubs in 3.5 weeks...GREAT SERVICE!!!!

That's right Babeeee, Jason just broke 100 using these sweet, sweet, player's sticks.

No stopping me now, Baby.

If you aren't playing Miz's (that's what us "player's" call them) then you ain't playing crap.

I have a friend who thinks he is hot shit playing his Gunmetal TA-5's and flirting with par. But trust me, he is not a "player", and I will be.

Woow hooo--a solid 98 thanks to my "Miz's". You got game? Let's tee it up.

Famous Davis, I beg to differ with your review of the mp-33. These irons were specifically designed around solid feel i.e. all that mass behind the hitting area "forged" and if you can produce a repeatable swing they excel in as you call it ¿playerbility¿ That being said I make an effort to notice what every P.G.A. player uses equipment wise and you would be surprised how many pros use the mp-33's 14's or exact replicas. This years Masters Champions clubs are carbon copies of the 33’s as well as last years champ (TA1) Just look at the pros irons when your watching t.v. mp-33, 29 and 14 have a very distinctive look about them. If you’re looking close enough they are everywhere and I'd bet most or all don’t get paid to play them. Professional golfers only job is to play golf well and in order to put food on their tables they require "feel" "workability" in their irons. These clubs absolutely represent that and more. To anyone that is interested in these irons, try them for yourselves and you'll be posting your own good comments I promise. You need not be a touring pro to hit great shots and get the best feeling blades around. Best Forged blades ever made!

Customer Service

As i said before the custom club department is way over booked so you have to be be patient if your getting them done up the right way.

These are SWEET clubs. Having played for about 3 years now, went from Tommy Armour 845s to Top Flite Tour Ti to now Ping I3s. My game is steadily getting better. I thought I'd never be able to hit a forged iron. Man, was I ever wrong?! These clubs are awesome! The feeling of hitting forged is like none other... just like cutting butter with a hot knife! Sweet! Also, extremely easy to work the ball any which way. Good swings will definitely be rewarded, and bad swings will be punished. That's definitely game improvement! The ball just flies off of the club face. Hitting an 8 iron about 160 yards. I could hit draws, fades, and even straight! Plus, these were the standard specs off of the shelf. Once I get fitted, watch out!!

Great clubs, 1 degree weaker lofts than
my MP29' and about 1/5 degrees weaker than my Ping ISI's but just as long. Great looks and feel. It's hard to compare to my MP29's, but I think in a few months I'll grab my 29's out of my club barrel and play them again for comparison. After using the 33's for 2 months, they look and feel somewhat more forgiving than my 29's.

I was frustrated in the first two weeks of hitting these irons. However, as I get used to them, I was simply addicted to them. There is nothing more satisfying than watching your ball bore thru the wind like a torpedo drilling thru the water.
These irons deliver the accuracy I've never dreamed of. You give them a good swing; they return you not only a "green in regulation" but also a makeable one put. It is as simple as that.
I also dare to try punch shots now, with these MP-33s. Their bigger, heavier heads make them very workable, save your muscle, and focus you on good contact.
I hit 5~10 yards farther with them than with Ping eye2. The ball launched from the club face like a Mustang hitting all its cylinders.
I like these blades shining in the sun light. So pure, so undeniable. I literately saw the blade's reflection on my wife's face when she stood beside me while I pull an 7 iron from my bag.
Having said all, I must confess the percentage of hitting sweet spots of MP-33 is lower than of Ping eye2. But I am an 24.7 index golfer. This is my problem, not MP-33's. I don't want to have too much forgiveness, which brings my swing nowhere. I want feedback from shot after shot, I want to be able to communicate with my irons, and I want to improve my swing. So far MP-33s and I have worked together pretty well in a passionate way.
I did not regret buying MP-33 a bit, but my wife hates them. She complains I love these clubs more than I love her and I holds these clubs more than I hold her. And I am only 28 years old.
