I now have a few rounds with these so I feel confident in writing a review. I previously played Callaway X-18's and loved them, but I have to say after trying the MX-19's I'm sold on Mizuno. I didn't like the stock grips so I took them off and put on some Winn's. I love these irons! I got the 4-GW set and I hit the 4,5,&6 so well I've stopped carrying hybrids. The 7 thru GW are deadly accurate and I've picked up about 8 yards in distance with each club. Plus the feel on a well struck shot is amazing. I had considered trying more of a players club but I'm hitting the MX-19's so well I can't justify switching to anything else right now.

I bought these clubs a month ago and have only played two practice rounds with them. All I can say is wow. I have taken 3-4 strokes right off my score. The scoring irons do fly high and land soft. I am very excited to play the 19's this year to see just how good i can be. I can work the ball with the 19's but not as much as some players clubs. Get yourself a set today to lower your scores.

Everything is PERFECT with this club. It gives you extreme confidence just looking at the club. Playing them takes perfect to a whole new level. My irons went way straighter. This kicks any other brand away!

really really really good irons. that is all that i need to say. these are by far the most forgiving irons that still fly high and far that i have ever hit.

i was on the verge of buying x-20's, or r7 irons, and then a day before i was gonna go to the store, a friend forced a mizuno mx-19 5 iron into my hand. wow, in most ways, it is better than high dollar clubs, but not all. though it is extremely forgiving, gives nice trajectory, consistency and distance, these clubs are not for anyone who is trying, or does shape their shots. these clubs are meant to make your shots str8, so if you love to approach the green w/ a beautiful power fade, then these arent for you. otherwise, all you non +5 handicappers should enjoy!

These irons are great. i played with them 9 months after i started playing golf when i played with 1991 tommy armour irons. i noticed the techology straight away when i played with them. i was shoting over the 100s but now im in the mid 80's and my handicap i now 26. they are really good for high handicappers because they allow a lot of forgiveness, aswell as going a long way.!!

I just bought these irons a few weeks ago, and i took three strokes off my handicap. I was 13 and went to a ten. I finally broke 80 a few times. I cant say enough good things about these irons. I have played tm's for years, and hands down give me the MX-19s. Perfect trajectory, very forgiving, and very long. I no longer need a hybrid for those 230 to 240 shots.

Hello every one :)
I play with these irons and i personally reconmend that if your looking for new irons you have got to get these. I played of 25 and within 12 months of having these irons i have dropped down to a 14 handicap. They are perfect for a begginer or even a scratch handicaper in my opinion. They realy are great irons. A must have to me! :) Thanks for reading!!

A great set. I had a midzs grip fitted ( advice by my pro) so that was different allready but still..
almost 80% of my shots is much more straight now. I've only took them for two rounds so far and I am used to scores way above 100 with the occasional par at a par 3 hole.
(My handicap is mostly my fulltime job but now...)
I've parred 5 par 4 holes almost all par 3's and even birdied a par 5!
these irons are working great from the fairway and ' half-swings' towards the green are easier to control.

I feel as if only now I am finally starting to play golf in stead of just wacking a ball around hoping the shot will land somewhere nice.........

I was tired for struggling with 'players' clubs but uncomfortable with the huge offset and bounce of massive game improvement (MGI) irons like the Big Berthas or Ping G5s. My main problems were low, hooking irons shots and a swing too slow to use a 5 iron.

Mizuno labels the MX-19s 'MGI' irons but they are like regular irons in every respect except that every shot has perfect trajectory and goes straight (you can force a 7 yard fade or draw if you try).

I got the LITE graphite shaft (57 grams) which is not whippy but makes it easy to swing easy while adding 5 to 10 yards per club in distance.

Any golfer who shoots in the 80s or lower should try these.
