Great set of sticks. Very forgiving on mis-hits. Received them and hit 1 bucket, next day shot 72 first time on the course.Mis-hits left me geenside, while I was very happy on solid shots, very nice high draw time after time. Very nice feel on chip shots also. Highly recommend you all give em a try!!

Got the Dynamic Gold XP shafts in regular flex and can only say going from the Ping G10 irons the Mizuno's are not only as forgiving but have the forged iron feel that is just awesome. These irons are excellent for guys like me (with jobs) who want a workable iron but needs more forgiveness than a blade since I can only play once a week if I'm lucky. Point and shoot for me and the distance is great too. Try them you won't be disappointed.

Mizuno MX 200

Customer Service

I recently switched from the Mizuno MP 57's to the Mizuno MX 200 irons. My first impression was Oh no! What have I done but by the back nine I fell in love with the irons. There is a slight difference in feel, the MP 57's feel and look more like a forged iron. The MX 200's are just so forgiving and the loss in feel is marginally different than the MP 57's.
I turned 50 this year and was looking for a forged club that was really easy to hit but still retained that forged feel. Mizuno has done it with the MX 200's. I have tried the MX 23 and MX 25's, the MX 200's are a vast improvement.
As a side note, I took the blue MX 200 plates off my irons and I like the look in my bag without all that blue. (That may be just me.
1. Used a plastic flat orange peeler (to prevent scratching the irons.
2. WD 40 or contact cement solvent (grip solvent to remove the excess double sided tape.
3.Dish soap and a tooth brush to clean them up.

i don't see the truth in all these fabulous reviews on the mx-200. i purchased the mx-200 to try to get more feel and game improvement, so much for that idea. the sweet spot on my old callaway x-16's is far more "buttery" than these mizuno's. same with the burners, far better feel and contact can be made. seems much more difficult to hit these mizzuno's. they are not making it in my bag that's for sure, i would not read too much into all these great reviews. thats what i get for straying away from callaway. will never make this mistake again.

Custom ordered with True Temper Superlite steel shafts in stiff, 2* up. Love the forged feel and accuracy. Had 09 Burners which I hit the same distance, but the MX200's have way more feel. Happy with choice

Bought a full set of ten irons for my 15 yr old son. 3 thru PW + GW + SW. He has only been playing a year, & was shooting in the low 90's. He has had this new set only a month, & is now shooting in the mid to high 80's. These are very interesting clubs, they play slightly longer than other clubs, as the PW is 45, GW 50 & SW 55. As mentioned in an earlier review, the ball really does fly off the club quickly, & takes an adjustment period, especially with the higher lofted clubs. Very forgiving if you don't hit the sweet spot. The key to these irons, as far as for my son, he is able to launch the ball with a MUCH higher flight path than his previous irons, & I am sure others will also. To watch him hit a 6 iron from 175 with a lot of height that lands softly on the green, is a pleasure to observe. His previous set, if he hit a 6 iron, the flight path was exceptionally low. Can't heap enough praise on these clubs for someone who shoots in the 80 - 90 +/- range. I have used them & have no complaints other than from 130 +/- on in, you have to really understand how fast the ball leaves the clubface, & adjust your swing down from a full swing to 3/4 +/- or thereabouts to attain the desired pin-high status.

Potential users please note that in my son's experience the 3 & 4 iron are rarely utilized. He hits the 5 & 6 iron from approx. 160 - 180, anything over 180 & he will usually hit his Ping G 10 5 wood.

Customer Service

Bought the 10 irons off eBay with standard loft & lie. paid around 50 per club. They had only been used 4 rounds. No complaints - Seller was excellent.

I do not like writing reviews because I think some are very over blown. If yoy shoot in the 80's or 90's and buy a new driver or set ot irons you are not going to hit the ball 25 to 40 yards further.
The MX 200's are a real nice set of sticks. It is point and shoot with graet results. Always wanted a set of forged irons and now I know why.

Highly recommend for all handicap levels. Long irons very easy to hit with nice flight. Short Irons take a bit of getting used especially around the green as the ball flys of the face making judgement of chips difficult. Very soft feel of well struck shots yet very forgiving on badly hit shots. Get custom fit because there are a number of shaft options which can maximise the performance of these irons.

Really good clubs with a great forged feel. Very easy to hit and they fly about 10 yds longer than my previous Hogan or Mizuno irons. The TT Dynalite Gold XP shafts provide high launch, xlnt control and smooth feel. These irons are suitable for both low and mid handicap players.

My handicap has been as low as 7 and as high as 12 over the past few years depending on how much work related stuff has kept me from practicing. During that time I've played Mizuno MP-30's & MP-52's both with Project X 5.5 shafts. Well, currently being in one of those golf funks I hit the MX-200's side-by-side with my MP-52's. And, I was so impressed with both how much easier the MX-200's were to hit and how good they felt that I traded for a set on-the-spot. The MP-52's are a great set but the current state of my swing just wasn't resulting in the consistency (distance, ball flight, accuracy...) The same swings with the MX-200's were high, soft draws time and time again. I guess the TT XP shafts and the larger offset heads are just what my swing needs for now and I still have the MP-30's for when (if) my swing speed & consistency return. BTW, I hit NIKE Victory Reds, Callaway X-22's, and others the same day, and nothing felt as soft as either of the Mizuno's.
