I bought these irons new from a dealer and fitted to my specs for $500. They are without question the best iron set I have ever played. A TRUE game improvement iron that looks, feels and plays like a golf club. I gained nearly a full club in distance right out of the box(fitting does make a difference), and the trajectory is amazing, even with the long irons. The MX 23 will forgive your miss-hits more than you deserve, and clean shots launch off the club face like missles. You're going to have to re-check your yardages when you put these irons into play. Customer Service Awesome! Fitted to my specs with fast turnaround from Mizuno. Similar Products Used: KZG Forged II M, Snake Eyes 600 combo. |

I purchased the MX-23's about 2 months ago and it was probably the best decision I've made in quite a while. I got them with the stock Dynalite shafts withe regular flex. I didn't get a chance to go to the range before my first found with my new irons. The first hole at my local course is a long downhill par-5, my tee shot was about 255 on the left side of the fairway. I had to decide whether to advance the ball with an 8 iron right in front of a small pond or go for the green with a 3 iron. I normally would have played it safe but I was trying to show off so I chose the 3 iron I took a couple of practise swings and then stood at the ball. I swung and I heard the ever so sweet sound of a perfect shot. I watched as the ball flew right at the green landed on the fringe and rolled to about 4 feet of the hole. Note: I have never been able to hit long irons very well. Overall the irons are very forgiving. and a great investment. Customer Service ? |

These irons are great. Ive played about 10 rounds with them and they have definitly started to solidify my iron game. Played Cobra CXI for 4 years then started searching for a GI iron that wasnt to bulky. I demoed TM RACOS, Cobra 3100IH, Cleveland CG4, ans Mizzy MX900. I hit all of these clubs great, almost identical shots with each, but the MX-23's had a little something special. They are beautiful clubs, great weighting, and the feel is great. If the MX-23's didnt exist, I would have gone with the CG4's. I am playing some great golf with these irons, every club is easy to hit, and I am pulling off shots I never knew I could. Anyone looking for GI irons that arent to bulky, look no further. Customer Service Never used Similar Products Used: Cobra CXI |

MX-23 R graphite
Sweet irons. I got the 5-PW slightly used for $275, and it seems a steal. I tried the mx-23's twice before, with s graphite and with s300 steel. Both were good but not great for me. I guess the R flex graphite just fits my swing, because I am just puring these irons. EXTREMLY easy to hit with a smooth swing, and plenty long. And the feel is better than anything I have hit (KZG blades and the the old Hogan Radials used to be the best)and much more solid and forgiving. I wish I had the 3 and 4, but especially the SW in this set. Great trajectory, very workable, great spin, great out of the rough. Beautiful to look at, but very soft forging is easily nicked up... who cares? Mizuno tip trims their graphite shafts, so the logos look a bit goofy... who cares? I finally found the set that is perfect for me, maybe it is perfect for you too. Customer Service NA Similar Products Used: I have hit just about everything.

Previously played with cast Miz TC-29's that are now 15 years old. Looked at a number of non offset irons including TM RAC's. The MX-23's had best profile (looking down at blade) and when I tried them out I was impressed by their 'feel' at impact. So I bought a set and played 3 rounds with them this past weekend in varying conditions. Verdict: Very, very happy. I scoped distances with A Bushnell Pinseeker II to see just what distances I was hitting the MX's. My wedge has gone from 100-110 to 110-120 and my 8 iron is now my 150 club (from a 7 iron). This gives me greater confidence from 175 yards and in. Now I can use a 5 iron and not risk miss hits with a 4. I have my draw back and can even work the ball with these irons. The only minor issues are the visibility of the weighting profile on the 3-5 irons (more predominant on the 3) and the stock Mizuno's grips could be better but should last through this season. As has been said, although these irons are very forgiving, they still need a decent player to get the best out of them. Earlier this year I borrowed my son's MP-33's and hit some great shots and some bad one's when I didn't 'pure' them. The same could be said for the MX-23's if they were used by a high handicapper who needed a large forgiving offset. My overall impression of the MX-23's is an 'A' (the grips prevent me from giving them an A+. |

Just purchased a set of MX-23s. I am in the military and got them for 500 at a golf expo which had all the top manufacturers. So needless to say, looking for a forgiving, improvement club i wasn't expecting to find anything that would be workable as well (I'm not a very good ball striker). I liked all the clubs I tried, i.e. TM Rac LT, Ping I5, Callaway Fusion (which was sooo easy to hit, and even tried some blades (not easy to hit for me). When I got to the Mizuno tent, they gave me a mx23 6 iron and I got a lucky swing, and it felt silky smooth and went far, straight, and had a trajectory I never was able to create up to that point. I hit it again and again, and got the same result. finally, I got fitted, and I'm waiting for my set. The cool thing about ordering from mizuno is they laser etch a number in the hosel that you can use for future iron sets you may buy from them, so they always will know your specs (lie, grip size, shaft flex, etc.) just in case you have to replace any, or decide to buy a matching wedge. Forged irons/blades do feel good when you hit the sweet spot, forged cavity backs (mx23) for a beginner soon to be intermediate like myself is the best club. I don't know who else makes a forged cavity back. Can't wait to get them in. after 20 or so rounds i'll post my results. I am in my 4th year as a golfer and previously owned a set of Cobra oversized irons. I found that golf was coming pretty easy to me so on the advice of a friend I decided to purchase new clubs. Hence the mx-23's. Can't say enough about them! Higher launch, hardly ever a miss hit, even those aren't that bad, but best of all, stop and drop accurate in the scoring irons. I'm thinking of purchasing the mp-60's next, but I'll never get rid of the 23's. A must have for the 10-20 handicapper. |

Bought these after trying a number of guys I play with's clubs, juss felt so solid comapred to my Mizuno Pro II's, which when you hit them out the muscle bar were great, but the mx-23's just fly and when hit slightly off the heel or toe, there's little or no loss of direction or distance.
