Hey, usually i wouldn't bother writing a review but after two months of searching for a bargain on these clubs, i got a brand new set for around 200 pounds. I used to play off 6 handicap, but four years away from the game made me around 24 with very poor green game. So i was apprehensive about these irons. First thing i can say is, they look AMAZING, and instantly promote confidence siting neatly behind the ball. I didnt find them too heavy as some people say. The first ball i hit, was thin, and hurt my hands for about 5 mins! the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on, felt like warm butter on the head. Unparalled feel, for being 7 years since release, nike really hit the nail on the head with these irons. From 3-pw they hit long, medium trajectory and soft. you are penalised for mis-hits, but i found they still went straight, just 60% distance. My yardage has increased around 5 yards, but this is not a brag for 'yea they are goin to make you hit further and straighter!' i wouldnt say 'you need 5 handicap or they are not for you' but you do need to have good ball striking ability, or at least the patience to learn a solid swing with them to get the most out of them.

Cant actually describe how please i am with these, hit one of my best rounds today, love these irons and dont see a change coming anytime soon!

I'm an ok player. i have the distance just not the accuracy. These clubs are hard to hit but they are amazing when you hit them right. i recomend these to a 14 handicap or lower.

I used the reviews on this site to help decide whether or not to buy these clubs. There are so many mixed feelings on them, it was hard to weigh the pros and cons. I am a 6-8 handicap through my 7 month season and have been playing for 14 years, 10 years with the same clubs! I took a demo set of Nike Blades to the range last night, it was my first time EVER hitting a blade iron. I always thought I was a pretty decent ball striker, turns out I was right, these clubs felt so good in hand. I must agree with the person who commented about knowing the feel of where the clubhead was on the backswing and the pure soft feel of hitting the sweet spot. I wish I would've switched to blades years ago. After the range, I went straight back to the golf shop and picked up the set. Thanks to everyone who made comments on these clubs. When golfers ask me "what club should I hit?" I usually say "whatever club gets you there." Doesn't matter skill-level, you have to hit the club you are comfortable with. Nice job Nike.

I'm a 4-8 handicapper and play Titleist forged cavity backs at the early part of the season, then move my game over to blades. Too add to all the other reviews on here, I find that I lose about 10 yards per club compared to my cavity backs or to other blades that I play. So, it is a little annoying to add a different gap in your iron game.

I have found the sweet spots to be similar to all the other blades out there, which is significantly smaller than cavity backs (even the smallish forged Titleist cavity backs).

What I really enjoy about the Nike blades is the soft feel at impact and the trajectory control. I can't explain the difference in flight control for me, but I can control the Nike's way better than my other blade set of Mizzuno MP-32s. The Nike's are much more workable for me in general.

I give them 4/5 stars just based on the distance issues, and the fact that I haven't found a perfect blade out there yet, and when I do, it will get 5 stars.

I bought a set of these irons based purely on the asthetics. I know blades are supposed to be hard to hit and that cavities are the way forward but i disagree completely. Im a 7 handicap and i have never hit an iron so well in my life. Because of the weight of the head you can tell exactly where the club is in the back swing and the size of the head only serves to help me focus more on the shot and on the ball. In short....buy them!!

It has a enourmous feel. you know,i know the cavity back is easier but,you know, the good is if i hit good -my good- ,if bad -my bad-. in the moment of impact, it is fun. try it ,period.

Started really playing when I got a job at a local country club. My dad belongs to Firestone (home of the Bridgestone Invitational), and has been golfing for well over 40 years. I was a collegiate soccer player, but needed to find a new sport after having a career ending injury. In the 7 months that I have been seriously playing the game, I have gone from shooting 100 to consistently shooting 82-87. I got these clubs from a member at the club I work at for a hundred bucks, and that's not a lie. My dad told me they would be way too hard for me to hit and that I should sell them on ebay. However, after feeling that first truly pure shot, I was hooked. These are great irons and do take some getting used to. When you do get used to them, they are awesome. I would definitely recommend these for someone trying to make their scores lower. Not only the feel is good, but they look awesome and you will definitely get some looks. Enjoy them, I know I am.

I have been using these irons for about 3 months now and they are the best feeling irons i have even hit. These clubs are probably a lighter feeling club then other blades but the feel on them is awesome. They are more forgiving then mizuno mp-32's that i hit so i ended up getting the nike forged blades. my overall opinion on these blades are that they are the best blades i have hit so far and if your a serious golfer and are looking to improve your game and equipment, i would recommend these Nike Forged Blades.

I have been playing these irons since 2007 and there are the best irons i have ever purchesed. many people think that blades are the hardest iron to hit, but these irons are very forgiving and feel sooo good. i would have to say that they are the best feeling blades around.
