The irons are beautiful. extremly accurate. BUT you will loss 1 club length in distance loss, pretty much gauranteed.
put a good swing on them consitantly for good results.

cheers

Best Irons I have ever used. These clubs are deadly accurate. I feel like I have an advantage over my playing partners. Before I purchased these clubs I could not hit a 3 iron to save my life. Now I hit 3 iron off about half of the par 4 tee boxes. Its like these clubs have a laser that just tracks right were you aim them. My driver gets me in trouble alot of the time but with these irons I know I can save par from almost anywhere. I live in a valley and we get wind gusts up to 60 mph some days and these irons just cut thrugh the wind. I would probably be a scratch golfer if I would just play 3 iron off the tee boxes and not bother with the driver, but these clubs make scrambling so much fun. I like the look and feel of Nike's new irons but I just cant give my old ones up. These will be in the bag until I wear the sweet spots out. My only complaint is they dont make a 2 iron or 1 iron for this set. I hit my 3 iron 210-220 and would love just a little more distance for those long par 5's but dont want to have to use a hybrid or fairway wood.

Customer Service

Never used. But Nike needs to make a 2 iron and maybe even a 1 iron for this set.

I found these on ebay for $130. I thought I'd give them a try since the price was right.

First, you must have a consistent swing and ball striking ability to hit the 8-PW (blade). Any error and you will pay in mis-direction and distance. The 5-6 are nice to hit and rather forgiving.

Second, I lost about 1 to 1 1/2 club distance. I usually gauge my distance on my 8 iron which I hit between 155-160 yds. The PC 8 (when hit sweet) went about 145 max, with an average of 135.

I tried them, but will either sell or put on the shelf for another day.

Basically these are good clubs. These were my first set of clubs that i bought 18 months ago and have served my very well, giving me a handicap of 6.
I have the graphite shafts and although the blades took a while to get used to, i now love the way i can shape my golf shots. I actually bought the steel shafts after about a year as my golf game had improved so much, and i was even more impressed with the steel shaft. I am not going to tell you what i like about each club, but i will tell you that these are a fantastic buy, and very much under-rated.
I work in a pro shop now so i know my stuff when it come to clubs and these clubs offer forgiveness, distance and accuracy... oh yeah, and they look possibly the best clubs on the market.
I would not recomend them for any golfer who has a handicap higher than 15 as the blades may cause dificulties, but a real good buy and worth getting.

These irons Rock!!! There is nothing better for an amature player like me. If you are serious about your game, you should really consider these irons. They are very easy to hit. Each iron has a different back: the short irons with the muscle wedge look helps for great shots around the green and puts lots of spin on the ball. The longer irons have a great cavity back creating great feel and accuracy. I am the number one golfer at my high school.

I went down to my local Golf Town and tried these irons out, these and Cobra 3100, Rac LT's and my own, Strata's. I was in need of some new irons and the Pro Sombos felt a lot better hitting. The Pro Combo's were longer than my previous irons and alot more accurate, these irons are extremely easy to hit, and when you hit it flush, you can barely feel the ball being contacted. The clubs are also the lightest clubs ive tried, great looking too!
P.S payed only $460 canadian, bought new online from Games People Play.

Model Reviewed: Nike Pro Combo Utility Iron

This Utility iron Nike's version of a iron like hybrid. I bought a 20* version to replace my 3 iron. I find this club easier to hit STRAIGHT than most of the Rescue Mid style of hybrids. If you have not found a hybrid that suits your swing and like looking down on a more iron like club you might check this one out, especially at closeout prices of under $50.00. I guess the market direction for hybrids have gone mostly in the wood-like direction but this 3 iron on steriods really works for me.
