These are great irons. I was using Callaway x-12s for 3 years and wanted to try a smaller club head. These irons have a much better feel and are very forgiving. These are very attractive irons and easy to set up at address. I highly recommend that you have these clubs fitted and the lie adjusted as you should with any new set of clubs. Alot of the new clubs on the market are very diffucult to adjust or can't be because of the way they are manufactured. These Orlimars are a breeze to adjust. Although the head size is much smaller than the Callaways these have proven to be just as easy to hit with a more boring trajectory and a much better feel. Most of the reviews on this iron have been very positive including this one. I honestly believe that any negative review would result from not having these clubs fitted and the lie angle adjusted for your swing. These are the best irons I have ever hit and were a great buy. I have had these clubs for almost a year. I recently bought a set of 2001 Hogan Apex edge. In a week, I have switched back to the Orlimars. The orlimars have a smaller head and work the ball really well. I was definately not comfortable with the oversized head of the hogans. Oversized head does not necessarily mean more confidence for all players. I think these clubs feel even more solid than the apex edges which are forged. The price is great too compared to the $600 I spent on the hogans. Give these a try. Similar Products Used: Hogan Apex Edge 2001 |

These clubs are a steal! Orlimar never did a very good job of selling them and as a result they have been replaced with a new model and can be had for almost nothing. If you are tired of looking at Similar Products Used: Callaway X-14, Cobra CXI, Cleveland Quad Pro |

I love these Irons. Thanks to reading the other reviews, I had the lie angle changed 2 degrees. Some people will tell you that the angle can't be changed but that is not true. Great irons. Similar Products Used: Armour 845s, Big Bertha etc. |

I played these clubs for 6 months and never hit the short irons with any consistency. I really liked the long irons but got really tired of the erratic nature of the scoring irons. These clubs compared very favorably in length with Ping eye 2's. I have since bought callaway steelhead x-14's and am extremely satisfied with them. These clubs are great. I have added one inch to the shaft. lie adjusted to 2 degrees upright, they are to flat. Before I took them in for lie adjustment I have been hitting 3 over par on a local 9 hole. My buddies are all new to golf and they have tried them and love them as well. Great choice for me. Great feeling club with plenty of distance and nice trajectory. Once I had the lie adjusted to 2 degree flat this clubs are now dead on. The original grips tore up my hands and they are a dream now that I swapped the originals with Winn grips. Similar Products Used: Ping eye 2s |
