I was looking for new clubs this year and i tried out the evo 25s, apex plus, cleveland ta3s, and the 990-bs and the 300s were just the best overall. The hogans were #2, evos #3, 990-bs #4 and ta3s, well, the ta3s suck frankly. with the great price I got on them (575 for 3-pw, 675 including the 2 iron) they were a great buy as well! Customer Service none Similar Products Used: titleist 990-b, top-flite tour pro grinds, mizuno pros, titleist 962s, apex plus, evo 25s, cleveland ta3 (these suck!!), x-14s, x-12s (for those who cannot hit the sweet spot... ever), ping o-size |

TM 300 Forged Iron
I had been playing with graphite shafted big berthas and was apprehensive about going to forged irons with steel shafts. I tried a lot of clubs, but I was continually surprised about how good the 300's felt. Reading the reviews I tried the Mizuno Comp-EZ, but the TM300 are vastly superior in terms of playability and feel. The TM320 (cast) just don't sparkle in your hands like it's forged sibling. They are also similar to the Mizuno Pro's. However the TM's felt better and appeared to be a little more forgiving. Distances are extremely consistent, and dispersion was much improved over the big berthas. I did not lose significant distance, however the 300 pitching wedge seemed substantially shorter. I seem to be making the transition well; the first time I used the clubs on the course I broke 80 for the very first time. Hopefully, I will enjoy more rounds in the 70s with these irons. I strongly recommend trying these clubs if you shoot in the 80s and are committed to becoming a better player. Taylor Made 300 Irons - 6.0 Rifle
Excellent clubs, can't say enough good things about them. Shafts are excellent as well. I had not tried any of the Rifle shafts until purchasing this set. Highly recommend them - feedback is like soft butter. One caution - Taylor Made's "standard" lie appears to be a little on the flat side. I'm 6'0" tall and I had to have the clubs bent 3 degrees upright to achieve the correct lie angle. Similar Products Used: Titleist DCI, Titleist 981, MacGregor Tourney PCB Tour, Maxfli Revolution |

Taylormade 300 Forged Irons
I have played Mizuno MP-14's for six years and thought I would never switch to another club. These clubs look great and feel event better. They are a little more forgiving then the ususal balde club. The sweet spot is larger, while at the same time you can feel good shots and bad, which is unusual. I've tried the 962's and the Ping I3 irons, but never felt that I had control on my half shots - 3/4 9 iron, etc. These clubs given you the best of all worlds, control, feel and some forgiveness! Plus I think they look much more traditional then the Mizuno balde. Have a try! Similar Products Used: None |

I thought these clubs were awful, they had no feel and did not even begin to live up to my expectations. In the store, i will admit they looked and felt great, but dont let this fool u. On the course they were crap! I felt like i was hitting a stone ageinsta ball. I strongly advise u to not buy thesae clubs because all they will do is kill your game. Taylor Made 300 Irons
Coming from infrequent golf play, I ultimately decided to purchase a set that I may or may not be ready for. I demoed several forged clubs along with comparing against my previous Callaway Golf Irons, and the TM300's that I decided on have already lowered my average score by 10 strokes. I don't know if it's the confidence, the improved feel, or an improved swing. Maybe getting them custom fit is the difference, but I am very satisfied with these irons and look forward to breaking 80 in the very near future.
