I recently bought these Irons and have played about ten rounds with them. They are outstanding clubs once you dial in the distances (they are extremely long). I have a tendency to hit low hooks, but these clubs just require a nice easy swing and everything flies high and straight, even the 3 iron. My only complaint is the loft on the PW is too strong at 45 degrees. If you buy these I would recommend adding a gap wedge to fill the 100-110 yard range. Taylor mades concept of titanium long irons and nickel short irons really works. Before shelling out $1200 on a set of Hawkeye's give these a try.

I recently purchased these irons. At first I was a bit hesitant about spending this much money, but now that I have them I have no regrets. I am still getting used to the clubs, but when I hit it on the screws all I have to say is "Holy Bejezus!" The ball flies like you wouldn't believe. For me I can't used them inside 120 yards beacuse I will always send the ball over the green. My first time at the range the clubs were actually sparking. I guess they live up to their name. The best irons I have ever played.

I'm just getting used to these clubs and the graphite shafts. So far I have been very please with my ball striking. However, be careful from 100 yards and in with the wedge. It will give the ball a nasty kick from the shaft and boom you're over the green. I have yet to hit a slice with these irons. Also tough to get any feel around the greens chipping.

I broke a shaft on a Taylor made driver and they replaced the shaft no problem. They didn't even ask for proof of purchase.

I've only been playing for a couple of years and had been using a set of irons borrowed from my father-in-law (Wilson). I'd used them a couple of times and knew pretty much what I could do with each club.

I saw the Firesoles on sale and decided to invest in them as I will be playing more and more in the coming years. After a few trips to the range to get a feel for them I played my first round this past weekend.

All I can say is "WOW!" The length I got on these clubs was amazing. I was hitting my 4-iron as far as I used to hit a 3-wood. Not only that, I was flying over the green from 110 using the pitching wedge. As a result, I shot a terrible round (118, about 15 more than normal), but I attribute that to adjusting to my new length.

As I get used to these great clubs, I expect to break the 90's this year.

Buy these clubs. You won't regret it.

Great clubs at a great price. A buddy of mine bought them last year for $700 and swears by them. I was unhappy with my Hawkeyes and Tungsten Ti's and gave these a shot. After one round and a trip to the range with them, I put both Callaway sets and my Callaway bag on Ebay and bought a Taylor Made bag. Solid clubs with great feedback. Setup like a blade but more forgiving. Easy to hit and work the ball. I would put them between a blade and a dummy set like Callaway's in terms of playability and setup. Easy to hit like Callaways but not clunky looking. Feels like a blade when hit well with the workability. Great clubs

I have a pretty fast swing speed and one of the things that once annoyed me was the lack of control I had over my clubs. However the weighting of the Firesoles are absoutely perfect.I can strike the ball more fluidly and consistently and can shape shots a lot more than with my old Callaways. The TM's are also very rewarding: hit just one sweet shot and you'll be smiling all day!
The clubs look nice and I think the Rifle shaft is very good, it seems to offers more accuracy than the Bubble Shaft, even if you lose afew yards distance.
Having had a few pro's tell me I had a very good swing never seemed to improve my score in the past, but since I bought these Firesoles I am playing a lot better and enjoying it more also, which is perhaps the first step in reducing your handicap (mine is now 14).I definitely would recommend these clubs to anyone wishing to improve their game.

First let me say that I've gained 15 yards per club. I just started playing golf last year and I shoot anywhere from 88-94. I got a excellect set of clubs at a deep discounted price. each club is very easy to hit and allows you to make a very smooth swing. I played some tour edge clubs in the past but they are too clunky and heavy. The firesoles allows for you natural shot shape and you need to get a gap wedge because your pw will go about 130. If you are thinking of buying these clubs you better hurry because at the new price they won't last long.

I've always been an advocate of buying custom made clubs in order to most accurately match my clubs to my game. That being said, I recently picked up a set of Firesole irons w/ rifle shafts and I LOVE them! I still took them in to my clubmaker to have him regrip and adjust the lie on each club, but that only made a great set of clubs even better. The long irons are remarkably easy to hit. Also, I hit a nice draw with these clubs, but I can also work the ball left to right when needed. I still prefer my Cleveland 588 wedges over the Firesole PW and SW, but only b/c I'm so used to the Clevelands. Bottom line is that everyone in my usual group has hit these clubs and loves them. For the current price of $399 at most places, I don't see how you can go wrong.

some great irons. i swung them in the store and loved the weighting system. i bought them brand new on ebay, still in wrappers, and got a decent price for them because they were discontinued this year. i got them with the tour stiff bubble shafts which are great as well. theseirons hit the ball long and hard and accurate. it is not hard to get the ball in the air either. i love them, the only thing is that you really need to get a lob wedge or something because this PW is good on approach, but cant do too much around the greens, other than bunker shots. great irons!
