I am a beginner who is just starting to hit the fairway. Was using my dad's old lynx predator blades but felt it was too old for me. The technology was outdated and not a good set for beginners. So decided to buy 2nd hand TM RAC OS from ebay. At first had to get used to the bigger heads since i have been using the blades for a while. However, when i started hitting it square, the balls went far and straight, i mean really straight. It was much easier to hit the balls with these irons and does maintain some feel and feedback but not as much as the blades. The RAC OS gives me confidence that i can hit the ball straight regularly without any worries. Highly recommended for beginners who wants to have consistent straight ball flight. Have not learned to work the ball yet so this suits me fine.

Had been playing Ping Eye 2's for last 15 years. Bought these a few weeks ago and was very impressed the first time I played with them. I picked up about 10 yards and noticed that these clubs are very forgiving. Almost had a hole in one the first time I played with them. Considering I picked them up for about $300 what a great bargain. Seem like a great club for mid-level golfers

I just traded in my Ping i-10's.
Bye Bye!!! These clubs are sweet and the Pings (for me) were notgiving me a great feel at impact, even though they felt better (by far) than the eye 2's I played. I will say though that I kept the G10 Driver, 3wd, 5wd...very nice and straight. Back to the Rac's...Nut's perfect feeling and long. I have just hit from the mat and hit some off the grass, straight and so comfortable, Man! I can go on and on...Love em' and hope to shave the 10 strokes I leave out there. I would rate these clubs a 10 even though 5 is max here, their that sweet, buy them. Stiff/ steel.

I bought my RAC OS irons two years ago. I had them bent to my specifications. I was playing Ping eye 2's. These are heavier than my pings & I've gained more control and hit the ball 5 to 10 yards farther. I am very satisfied. These clubs are easy to hit and make golf more enjoyable.

I have been playing "knock off" irons since I picked up the game thinking the club doesnt make the golfer. But, I picked these clubs up and there is a huge difference in my game. The clubs are SOLID and straight. These clubs are easy to hit, and have made a huge improvemnt in my game.

I have only used these clubs to practice my short game so far - chipping and pitching only, but I had to post a review. For anyone like me who has only been playing for a couple of months, they are ideal clubs. To start out I bought a set of Dunlop 65i irons but as the heads kept coming off, I cut my losses and invested in my Taylor Made RAC OS irons. To put it simply, RAC OS's make the game seem easy. They inspire confidence, promote smooth swings, and solid ball striking. I can't wait to get out on the course with them as I'm 100% sure that my scores will come down dramatically. My set have steel shafts but that is not a problem even though I know most people would go for graphite to start with. When compared with my Dunlop 65i graphite irons, the Taylor Made RAC OS's are no heavier and actually feel lighter.

These irons give great distance as the other reviews agree. The best thing is that you can concentrate on a smooth swing, and as a beginner that seems vital. This also means that as long as you are correctly aligned your shots will go long and straight.

Customer Service

Bought used from a Pro Shop called brodders golf shop or something via e-bay, excellent value and service. Arrived two days after I used the 'buy it now' option.
