These are very forgiving and soft irons with a large sweetspot. The distance is a little short of what I would like it to be but, I can produce some great spin with these irons. Stopping any iron on a dime is no problem and the control is outstanding with nice high launch. Nice job on these irons Titleist

I just recently began playing golf frequently again, after hardly playing at all over the past 8 years (college, jobs etc.)
I bought these irons due to the reasonable price and I liked the style. Within the few months I have had them I have gone from shooting high 90s to consistent low 80s. I am back to hitting the slight draw I had when I was younger. The clubs have great feel and are easy to work the ball with. I have gained about half a club length over my old irons.
I do tend to have trouble hitting the long irons off tight fairways or thicker rough due to the amount of offset. This may be due to my swing but I recmmend making sure you practice with the longer irons to make sure you like the offset.
Overall these are great clubs that are now very affordable.

I've played these irons for a year now and after extensive fiddling can safely say I love them. First, the lofts and lies were totally out of whack, straight from the factory, but a local clubmaker fixed that for me.I liked them a lot, but there was still something about them that wasn't quite right. While getting a new driver reshafted, did full swing analysis, launch monitor etc. and found out the shafts had swing weights varying from 4 (5 iron) to 0 (6,7,8 irons) back up to 3.5 (9 and P wedge). Got the set reshafted with Rifle Air Lites with the swing weight I wanted and all of a sudden there it was, perfect little draw that I was was used to. Great feel, instant feedback from the forged head and a consistent flight path.Still, I wish I had just gone for custom made clubs (KZG) from the get go and saved a lot of time and money

I have tried alot of different irons. From player to super game improvement. These irons fit somewhere in the middle. I like that they are forged and have blade like appearence at address but are also designed with alot of forgiving features, offset, thicker topline, cavitiy back and light weight shafts. A real joy to hit.

I just ordered a set of these titleist irons from ebay brand new with the plastic still on the heads and grips for 350 dollars including shipping. what a deal! I was so excited to get them that i went out to the driving range right away. I hit three buckets of balls and then played nine holes. These are the softest feeling irons that I have ever hit. I read some other reviews saying that these clubs could not work the ball but that is not true at all. I was able to hit a high draw, a low draw punch, and a high fade. (i'm still working on the low punch fade). do not let the offset of these irons turn you off from buying them. it just helps square the face at impact and make better contact. There was no change in distance from my previous irons (hogan edge). The ball did seem to have a little higher ball flight, which fits right in to what titleist had in mind with these irons. I wish i would have picked these irons up earlier because they would have made me a much better player. go out and demo a set at your local driving range or golf store and you will see what i am talking about.

Best set of forged irons I have ever hit. Great hop and stop action and easy to set up. Nice ball flight and I got them for $285 on ebay with graphite shafts. So far shot a 42 for first nine holes. Then a 76 and 77 for the next full 18 hole rounds. From the 7 thru Pw they are as nice feeling as you can get. Love them.

Bought set new last summer on eBay for $400. Find them easy to hit, get high loft on my shots and most shots are on target. My only complaints are (1) do not get the distance I would like and (2)the heads seem easy to ding up. Just received my new Mizuno MX-900 iron set yesterday ($680 on eBay) and will have to see how they compare to these irons.

I have played about 6 rounds with my new 804 irons. I can only brag on the sand wedge. It is better than my old Ping Eye 2. The rest of the set is terrible. I bought the set with the factory graphite shafts and they seem to be so heavy that I can't feel the club head. Perhaps I am a "feely" type golfer, but I want to know where the head is, and I can't "feel" it with these irons. I sold my Adams GT irons to buy these and that was a big mistake. So I just purchased the Taylor Made RAC 2 irons. They feel much better but I haven't played with them yet. I'll let you know how they "feel". Also my distance with each Titleist iron was about 5-10 yds.less than my old Adams irons. Needless to say, the 804 irons now belong to someone else.
