Wilson Ci6 Irons

Wilson Ci6 Irons

DESCRIPTION

The Wilson Staff Ci6 iron is targeted directly at the mid-handicapper. It looks and feels like a precision player's instrument but incorporates some of the more forgiving features of the Wilson Staff line. The mid-size head features thin toplines, slight offset and a small undercut cavity. The perfect blend of classic looks and maximum control. An Elastomeric Dampening Layer gives a unique cavity coating which reduces vibration by 1/3. The Wilson Staff Ci6 comes with either Taper Tech Steel Shafts or a Nano-Tech graphite shaft. The steel shaft has a progressive tip design transitions from high tip flexibility in the long irons for higher launch, to a stiff tip in the mid to short irons for a lower launch and maximum control. The graphite shaft is the most consistent graphite shaft ever, with a stable tip for mid to high launch angles.

Model Reviewed: Wilson Ci6

I have played them all, Taylormade, Ping, etc etc etc. I bought these after reading CLUBTEST reviews. These are superb for the mid to low handicapper. Thinner topline, look like aplayers club but elastomer insert and nanotech graphite shafts in my set give a forged like softness with no vibration on mis-hits. Strong ballflight. Excellent distance (maybe too good). I would not tell a 20+ to go grab these, but for those who are an 18 and under and want a set they could play on the way to being scratch, these are a work of art.
I had the BB Fusions before these and the Wilson's beat them in every category. Feel, feedback, trajectory, and even value.
