I have used many putters in my career. This is the only putter that gets the ball to the hole without even trying. Instead of banning the long putter they should ban this putter, it is that good. I sink putts from everywhere with this putter. No other putter sinks as many putts as with this putter. Short putts are a gimme from 3 feet. This putter is stupid automatic. This putter is the best club in my bag besides my driver and wedge. If you are struggling with the putter, do not hesitate to purchase this putter. If it does not work for you, it is your own fault and not the putter.

Well my favourite club used to be my Titleist 905R (which is brilliant) but it has been replaced by my Marxman Whitehot putter - XG mallet.
It is a pleasure to use, the ball comes off the face very sweetly and I have never putter so straight and true. As the other reviews state - it is very easy to align with your eyes right over the centre line and the long stripe through the putter.
I went out in my first competitive medal today and shot a net -5 and only 27 putts - undoubtedly the best I have ever putted and all down to the Marxman. A fantastic club.

I bought this as an open box special online because of how inexpensive it was, and the shaft length. WOW is all I can say! I have never been a big fan of mallet putters, but this one definitely changed my mind really quick. Alignment is a breeze with the two big racing stripes and the balance is incredible. This club performs better than it looks. If you are tired of blowing great shots by two or three putting, this is your solution. Great quality, and greater performer. A new permanent fixture in my bag.

HARDLY EVER REVIEW A CLUB, BUT JUST HAD TO GET IN MY 2 CENTS ABOUT THIS PUTTER. IVE NEVER BEEN A BIG FAN OF ODYSSEY PUTTERS, AND USUALLY LIKE A CENTER SHAFTED PUTTER, BUT WAS PLAYING WITH A GUY THE OTHER DAY THAT HAD ONE OF THESE, AND I TRIED IT. I LIKED THE FEEL OF IT, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS VERY LIGHT & A HEEL SHAFTED PUTTER. LONG STORY SHORT I GOT ONE, WEIGHTED IT WITH SOME WEIGHT OFF A HEAVY PUTTER BRAND PUTTER, SINCE I LIKE A HEAVY PUTTER. I THEN ADDED A 2 THUMB PUTTER GRIP WHICH IS A VERY WIDE GRIP WHERE YOU CAN PLACE BOTH THUMBS DOWN THE FRONT OF THE SHAFT, BINGO. I CAN HONESTLY SAY I HAVE NEVER PUTTED HALF AS GOOD AS I AM NOW. BEFORE THIS PUTTER, WAS STUGGLING WITH 5-6 FOOTERS, BUT THEY HAS ALMOST BECOME AUTOMATIC. IN ONE 18 HOLES THE OTHER DAY MADE 2 PUTTS OVER 40 FEET, WOULD NORMALLY BE LUCKY TO DO THAT ALL YEAR LONG. MAYBE THIS IS A STRANGE COMBINATION OF WEIGHT & GRIP, BUT ON THE PUTTER IT HAS BEEN UNBELIEVABLE FOR ME. HAVE PLAYED A TOTAL OF 5 ROUNDS NOW, AND HAVE PUTTED GREAT EVERYTIME SO I DONT BE IT IS A SHORT TERM FLUKE. HAVE MORE CONFIDENCE OVER PUTTS OF ANY LENGHT NOW THAN I EVER HAVE HAD. LOOKS LIKE THE ETERNAL QUEST FOR A PUTTER IS OVER.

Wow. This has already made a big difference to my putting and I've only had it a couple of days.
Took it on the putting green and was holing putts from all over the place - wasn't quite so good on the course but still made two or three really good putts including a tricky 15-20 footer.
The alignment aid really helps a lot and the ball sounds great off the face.
The biggest difference is that you step up feeling you have a great chance of making a putt. You're almost EXPECTING it to go in the hole rather than HOPING it will go in.
It wasn't cheap but I'm glad I paid the money for this putter.

I had been having trouble with 4 foot putts until I met this putter. It is now one of my best friends and I dare anyone else to touch it. Smooth, soft, effortless, and amazing are terms I use regularly when describing this putter. Believe it or not I'm very picky and hard to impress but Kudos to Odyssey, I absolutely love it and encourage others to give it a try. You won't be sorry. The Marxman mallet putter is the easiest improvement to my golf scores in over 22 years of playing.

This putter has a great direct feel and amazing accuracy. I had been playing with the same classic putter for 30 years until I tried the Marxman. I had tried two Scottie Cameron model putters and a few others over the years, but none match the amazing alignment capability of this putter. I have had more subpar rounds in the last month with this putter than in the previous twelve months using my trusted Original Arnold Palmer blade. It takes a lot for me to change. Try it out. If you can't putt with this see a doctor.

I really liked the two-ball putter, but I found it difficult to get precise alignment. This Marxman mallet putter really helps take the guessing out as to whether my putter face is pointed where I want. The face is also well-balanced to help promote a proper stroke. I found that this putter set up on the ground much more level than did other mallets such as the Cameron Futura, which tends to close itself at address.

If I could change one thing about this putter, I would get a shaft that had less offset. Odyssey lists the putter as having a full shaft offset, but I think the goose neck has even more than that.

Just an absolute pleasure to putt with, this is a well balanced putter!I can use my "feel" game when using this putter and it allows me to use my imagination in that I can see the putt rolling in the hole and play the break. Odyssey has some great putters, the xg line is great and so is the Black line, love the Black #3.

Went to local Golf Galaxy to try to find a new putter - was looking for a mallet style and narrowed it down to the Nike OZ(Blue Chip series) the Ping Craz-E B(G5i series)and the Odyssey Marxman (White Hot XG series). All felt well and got a good feel off the face. The marxman has the best of the SRI 2 ball but incorporates a new series of white lines, which for me really line up the ball nice.
I went out this morning shot terrible but found myself giving some of the best chances to makes putts. It was almost effortless to actually ROLL the ball something that I was not used to doing with my old HOGG 100A blade style. I have to say it was well worth the money - actually looking forward to putting MORE ?? if that makes any sense !?
