In regard to the previous poster (James Bond)...I guess "different strokes for different folks"! I guess I have tried 20+ putters over the last several years trying to find that "perfect" putter...however, I always come back to the Scotty Cameron Futura! I don't like the looks of it, but it is one awesome putter (And...I guess making putts is more important that looks!)I have decided to stick with it cause it just has no equal (IMHO).

The Scotty Cameron Futura! Scotties finally got it figured out. For only 300 bucks this putter screwed up my game on the greens. The putter is too light. The head is too shiny (on sunny days). And, my stroke was lost in the first five minutes. A must buy for all serious golfers!!!!

I was out looking for a replacement putter for my Odyssey 2-ball putter that I have had for a few years now. I have never putted better than average with it. I gave everything a try and saw this crazy club in the used section. I am SOOO glad I gave this Star Trek reject a spin. It is sooo light and smooth. I can actually make a 'stroke' now and not just a 'poke' like with the much heavier 2-Ball. I have much more confidence over a 12 footer because I know if it doesn't drop it will be a mere tap-in. FIND THIS PUTTER !!!

Am tempted to send in my club for some customization but how could I give this thing up for 2 weeks?

WOW! cant even compare to my Odessey Tri-SRT. Ive played with this club 4 times in the past week and have missed only 3 putts over 20ft. I nail everything under 20! It has helped me drop a whopping 7 strokes off my card. Price was decent, but i can imagine torunament money will pay off in no time.

Not the best putter I have used. Got this one at the beginning of this year and struggled with it from the start.

It took some getting the ball up to the hole on the cold wet greens and made a sound similar to an empty tee pot.

When I placed the putter behind the ball it sat way too open for my liking and when in the bag it takes up way to much room.

Not one of Scotty Cameron's best i'm afraid

Awesome putter. The feel is great. It is a bit big but boy you putt with this and the ball comes off so nice and soft. You are able to control this putter. The is great...I have owned four cameron putters from newport '97 model, stainless steel 2.5, newport 2 05 model and all are great great putters. the value is expensive but if you are a novice golfer you gotta have to have this putter. I have tried the hogans, bobby grace, pings, odyssey, yes putters, by far scotty cameron is the best of the best. trust me he makes great putters...i might have to buy this new mallet phantom putter...but that will be later in the year or the end of the year. :-)

Putter does set up open, but not a big problem for me. Had putter cut down to 32.5" which made the head even lighter. I bought some after market weight inserts that fit the Futura perfectly and has addressed the light head weight issue. After you get past the ribbing because of the size (I tell everybody that on a clear day I can get HBO), and the sound (kinda pingy), you'll experience the best rolls ever.

First off let me say that for a putter that is $275 and has the Scotty Cameron name on it it should at least sit with a square club face when rested on the ground, you don't know how mad I was when I used it for the first time and rested it on the ground to line up my put and there it sits with it's huge open face. Now you ask why did I buy it if I don't like the lie...well I bought it off Ebay...BUT, I did however go to a golf shop a few times and hit with it and liked the feel, swing weight and alignment but when your in a golf shop hitting balls around you don't really take the time to go through the pre-shot routine like you would on a green...at least I didn't. Now as far as the rest of the club the alignment was good, swing weight was pretty good (could use a little more weight), and feel was alright but face wasn't as "hot" as I had hoped when I got on a real green with longer putts. Long story short I don't care what kind of putter it is weather its $15 or $400 the damn thing should at least sit rested on the ground with a square club face, I bought it off Ebay for $120 so it didn't hurt quite as bad as paying $275, traded it off and got a Ping Craz-E, haven't been happier.
