JUST WOW!!! i've been shooting in the high 70's for awhile and could not figure out why my putts would not sink for the longest time. After playing with this i finally can putt with confidence. Shot a 73 today with mediocre wedge play. The setup of the putter makes long putts easier to read when looking down at the head and the hole. Short putts line up even better compared to my Rossa fontana. The weight of this putter is somewhat light but it is great because i can actually feel my putts coming off the club better now than before. Lag putts are easier to play with this putter. Overall, it was worth the $130 i paid for this putter.

WOW! Thats the only word that can describe the performance of this putter. I had been using a 35" TM Rossa Monza, but when I was at Dick's the other day, I was playing around with a few putters, notably the Futura 35" as well as some crappy Rossa 48" belly putter. I LOVED the balance the Futura offered but also liked the stability that the 48" belly offered. While I hadn't tested what I was about to buy, figured that the 2 good putters would make one great putter, and they did! I am by no means a great golfer, but the Futura has transformed my game. I've instantly shaved 5 strokes per round, no joke! Those little 8 footers I used to dread are now a piece of cake. I feel the confidence to hit ANY shot with this putter, and a lot of the times I do! The complaint on the Futura is that it feels a bit light, and with the 35" version I agree. However, the 48" is just right, and if anything, its a bit OVERweight. Just a spectacular golf club from start to finish. Combine that with the fact that I got one brand new for 104 dollars on eBay, you can't lose!

This putter is absolutely great! I have tried every cameron there is and none compare to the stability and consistency that the futura has. I like the shaft in my putter a little stiff, so i cut it from 35'' down to 33''. It doesn't matter that it is the most attractive club, it rols the ball straight and in the hole a lot.

Forget the crap about this being an ugly putter. Do you want equipment that looks good or do you want equipment that works? Me, I want the latter of the two. But seriously this putter puts a pure roll on the ball and unless you just mess up and hit the thing 15' past or 15' short you cant go wrong with this thing. I used a taylor made monza before getting this putter and the difference is night and day. I could always do ok with my monza putter but I was never really confident with the thing. But the Futura is the real deal, if you are 4' and in you can pretty much count on the put dropping, no crap! With this putter my confidense has reached a new level on the greens and I will never by another putter again....unless mine breaks. I think the encredible balance matched with the belly shaft creates this confience, but either way you cant go wrong. Go out and by his putter if your budget allows. It is pretty pricey compared to other brands but I think worth every penny. You get gret craftsmanship and one solid feeling & hitting putter.

How can people be put off by 250.00 for a putter? Many will spend 400.00 for a driver they might hit 12 times a round but will moan and groan on a stick they hit 30 times a round that really makes a differnce more than anything else on what there score is. This is the top of the line in both quality and performance. This putter sets up so stright and has such a feel that you have to hit it to believe it. It does play a little light on slow greens but do yourself a favor and go to e-bay where you will see various types of weights that hook up to the Futura that look like they came from the factory. Most range from 24g to 56g and you can set it up for the feel you like, slow or fast greens . I have had this putter for a while and was one of the first to have it so I have had a lot of time to rate it. In fact one of my friends who plays on the nationwide tour used mine until he could get his. There is no putter that can come close to the performance of this putter. Buy one and you will see.

Of all the clubs I bought this season to completely revamp my set—the Fusion driver, Nike CPR 2-3, Slingshot irons and Cleveland C10 wedges—the Futura may be the biggest difference maker. Yesterday's stint on the putting green might be the best illustration. With any decent putter, I am a scratch lag putter. (My game outside 170 yards is another game altogether.) But yesterday, I three times linee up my five Pro V1's 60 feet from one of the pins, with a one-foot right-to-left break. I sank four of the 15 putts, two of them in the same set of five putts. The fellow next to me, when he heard the second putt drop in, looked at me as if wondering who I might be. At the same time, I now am sinking 45-50% of my ten-footers. I couldn't achieve that with at least 90% of the putters on the market. My strong guess is that its greatest virtue, quite simply, is that it is easier to keep the head on-line or, put another way, it is harder to twist it off-line. At this point, the key to my putting is my green-reading. If I read it right, there's a remarkably good chance the putt will go in—even from 20 yards away. I am so confident with the club and its to ability to stay on line that I simply take it back slowly and drop the head on the ball. If I could hit every club this well I'd break 70. There may be a putter equal to it—I tried the Oddysey, and it isn't the one—but I cannot imagine a more perfectly designed club for any purpose, at least for my style, than this club. It already has cost my wife-to-be, a terrific putter, a large sum. The loser of our five-a-week putting contests has to buy the wine, and her only two wins since I bought this club were one-up. And in one of those, she had make three 25 foot-plus putts in 18 holes to do it.

This putter is not for everyone. If it is for you, you will love it like crazy. Some people will be put off by its bulky, unorthadox appearance. Some people will be put off by its tendency to lay open at address. If you play slow greens this putter is not for you because it is a lightweight putter that you really have to crack on slow greens. It costs a lot. You will take some ribbing because of its looks. Now if you are not one of those people, get ready to drop some putts. The alignment feature is very effective, the feel is outstanding, and it seems to promote a nice pendulum stroke that really tracks the line. A real point and shoot putter that instills tons of confidence. The hole will grow for you.

First of all, I would love to meet steve02 who hits 38-40 putts per round and still shoots in the 70's. Must be amazing off the tee. The Futura is a very nice putter. It is well balanced and provides a consistent stroke. After two rounds of practice on both, however, I purchased a Macgregor V-Foil MOI M5K. While the Futura is terrific, I got better distance control from the Macgregor. I know that Cameron has the name, but the Macgregor was right for me. Putters are all about feel, so you need to try it for yourself. What works for me may not work for you. But considering the price and the confidence it gave me, I was glad to buy the putter that I have.

Having only experimented with the Futura for an hour and a half at my local Golf Galaxy, I can't be definitive with my review here. Also, putting is most certainly a feel and finesse affair, and what's right for me is not right for others. Having experienced the height of frustration with 35+ putts with my milled Bullseye SC, I was in the market for a new putter. I had read extensively about the Futura and seen it in person, but the $250+ price tag was quite the repellent from seriously considering the thing as a replacement. Despite all of the somewhat gimmicky attachments to the relatively simple putter head, however, the Futura seems to set up rather naturally upon address, with the shaft encouraging a slight offset. I'm not one for inserts, so the SC milled face was a delight in terms of feel. It's fairly consistent as well, with no real discrepancy from the toe to the heel. A few faults are: the ping-like sound upon impact, which sounds somewhat cheap; my personal tendency to pull the putt more often than not; and a more unusual alignment system that requires some getting used to. Phil Mickelson certainly attained some muted success with this putter, but he won the Masters with an old, trusty Napa-style flatstick. Certainly a well-made, premium putter, and very possibly a good putter out on the course, but a more discerning buyer will ignore the SC name and find something somewhat less expensive. I wound up with the PING Doc 17.
