Purchased a new 588 gunmetal 53 degree gap wedge on e bay for $73.00. It sure is sweet. Now I know why the pros play with Cleveland wedges. You'd have to experince the feel you have when you hit these clubs. I am now going to look for a 588 56 degree sand wedge to go along with my gap wedge.I make my golf gear purchases after reading the reviews on golfreview.com website. because it comes from everyday players like you and I. I am very happy with this club and would highly recomend it to any golfer who is looking to improve their short game.As they say " the scoring is in the short game".

Cleveland gunmetal wedges are the best ever! Excellent accuracy and allow you to stop and spin the ball on a dime. I carry the 51, 56, and 60* wedges and the 56* is my favorite club in my bag.

I'm not that great of a golfer but I tried these wedges and it made me more confident with my short game. These wedges are great for anyone from the novice to the advanced.

My Irons are Titleist DCI's but for my weges this is a solid club that always seems to feel right. Most of the time when youre head tells you to grab your nine or eight, I just end up grabbing this wedge and hitting it a little softer or a bit harder. Bottom line is if you want the best in the wedge catagory, go with Cleveland...most of the pro's do.

I purchased two 588's early last season and found them to be a good overall club. I bought my wedges in 56 and 60 degree one season after I purchased my 900 forged wedge in 52 degrees. The 900 has better feel then the 588's but the durability is not great with either of these wedges especially in the bunker. My 900 will need to be replaced soon, and that is why I bought 588's last year. Great wedges but they lack durability, and will not last for many seasons. I would reccommend them to the better player who is seeking a quality wedge.

Great Wedge!! Upgraded from old Hippos and immediately saw a huge difference! The heavy weight on the wedge promotes me to have a nice easy swing. Which we all should be doing in the first place. Distance and shot shaping was very good and easy to do. Feel is amazing and the chrome looks sharp. Looking forward to getting the 53 degree to fill the gap!

Traded some old clubs and replaced my 588 56* for the 60 and 53 in gunmetal. The 53 plays too close to my pw but I prefer the feel of the gunmetal. The 60 took some getting used to but I am loving it now. Great feel and manueverability.

I have been playing golf for about ten years and have probably chipped/pitched in about 6 times( from +20 yard). I have played six rounds of golf with this club and chipped in 3 times already!this club is very accurate, my up/down stats(sad) before the 588 were usually about 3/8 this has now risen to 7/8, some of this improvement is also down to my new STX tour sync putter but the 588 WIIL get you close .Top wedge.

First day using this club. Have a Callaway VFT set. Was having serious problems with control around the green using the VFT SW. Issues concerning "to flop or not to flop" felt like russian rulette. Used the chip and run for nearly all applications and this proved costly. Read about this SW / 57 Deg. last weekend, bought it and played with it for the first time today. I can tell you that this is one of the most natural swinging wedges ever. Wow. Control, confidence, I can't say enough. I was doing some recovery shots over trees that I would normally punch low and would be in poor position. Many people say that they are able to drop strokes off their game by using different equipment. This is legitimate. I can position myself much better resulting in easier putts. Get it cheap on Ebay and you will not regret it.
