Cleveland RTG Wedges

Cleveland RTG Wedges

DESCRIPTION

Cleveland Golf's RTG Wedges are the most played wedges on Tour. Their non-chrome finish creates a more abrasive surface resulting in greater spin and a very soft feel.

I got this wedge along with a new set of irons and a couple of other wedges. This was the club I was least excited about. It languished in my bag for quite some time while I fawned over my other new sticks. When I got around to trying it, I wasn't too blown away at first. The more I used it though, the more I wanted to use it. This club has gone from my least favorite to my most favorite club. Pretty soon, I'll be putting with it. Easy to hit, consistent, consistent, and best of all, consistent! For pitching and chipping, it's the best. Just a big stick of butter. You should get one.

I ordered this wedge in chrome. TGW sent me the RTG by mistake. They ain't getting it back.

This is by far my favorite club in the bag. It is exceptional for pitch shots (if your using the right ball of course) and has a great feel to it. It is also a very well built club. I have thrown it into a few trees out of disgust and it has come out just fine. Great club. Buy one now.

I've been using these for a couple of years. The 60 degree is simply awesome. In each of my last four rounds I have stuck one of several pitches within two feet. That's probably about a 40% average. I use the 60 from 20 yards to 80 yards. You can hit it low, open the face, hit it high. The other lofts are great too, but the the 60 is the most versitile by far. Open the face and it can be used from the sand as well. If you buy only one, but the 60 degree.

These wedges are the best! Full shots and touch shots are easy to play.. they come off solid and the distance is consistant. To say anything more is to waste your time and mine.

A great wedge, a little on the hard side but it provides good feedback, and the best spin iv''e seen in a wedge. Awesome for greenside chips I love it!

Have had the 60 for about four years now. Love it. I kept using it out of the bunkers and ignoring my cleve chrome sandy that I just bought a RTG 54 and will bag the chrome. Don''t spin many balls but I do with the RTG. paid $89 at Golfer''s Ware...

I bought this 64 lob wedge to complement my family of Cleveland model 900s, since Cleveland doesn''t make a model 900 beyond 60--and apparently won''t be, at any time in the near future. This club is just a kick to play and practice with. Even a high-handicapper like me can hit it cleanly and get the ball to sit down quickly. I''ve never had such groupings of shag balls around a cup on a practice chipping green like I had from day one with this club. I''ve got to figure out a way to get this club in amongst the 14 allowable on the course.

Cleveland has an excellent website that assists you in deciding what wedges to purchase, and the 800 number they give there results in you talking with real people who know the wedges and are very hel

Bought the 60 degree gunmetal version to supplement my short irons. You need to get used to the heavier weight of the club. The gun metal surface is beautiful to look at - simple, yet effective. A lot of practice is needed before you can play this club with confidence. A full swing will result in a beautiful pin high lob/flop shot that just goes up in the air over trouble (especially over bunkers, little green slopes, water, etc) and lands beautifully on the green. Initially, I kept hitting it short and was afraid to swing it hard thinking that the ball would fly the distance of a normal wedge. But it won''t - just play it confidently and you will be surprised at the result. Lack of practice with this club will result in many poor shots.
