I thought it was a bit of a stupid name for generally one wants a shiny looking wedge. I was wrong the trusty rusty has great feel and a lovely grip.Without doubt the best wedge out there - far better than the Vokey.

I have been using both the 57 and 61 degree models now for 2 years and am yet to find a better feeling wedge. Aside from the great touch around the green, the greatest asset this club has for me is a beautiful setup from the fairway. There is no lie to tight w/ the scalloped head design. These are my favorite (and most used) clubs in my bag.

I love this wedge. I purchased this wedge used and haven't put it down since. It's easy to hit and use to attack pins. I would definately recommend purchasing this wedge if you can find one.

This club is great. It has a good feel to it, and the rust will make it spin mad. It is one of the best Sand wedges I have ever played and I would highly recommend it to any golfer. I have the 55 deg. version. I almost got a hole in 1 with it today, I only had a kick in birdie. All-in-all, a GREAT club.

Great club on a good lie. A less than perfectly executed shot (easily done on tight or downhill lies, often found in the UK) can end up 20 yards past the pin as that razor-like leading edge scalps the dimples off the ball. This club costs me as many shots as it saves. Not so trusty.

I am a pretty good High School golfer that has always prided myself on my ball striking. I was not the best around the greens however. Until this wedge it is the best bar none especially from inside 60 yards. It will take one bounce and stop or screw back alittle. The most control that any club has had over the golf ball. The best wedge out there by far. Saves me at least 2 or 3 shots per round which for me is just huge. The first nine I played with it I shot 2 under. The only done play is if you tend to chunk the ball the razor thin leading edge may make you look silly but if you hit it solid it will have your playing partners ooing and awwwing at the great shots.

This is the best wedge on the market.Period.The sharp leading edge lets you pick the ball off the turf and spin it even from short distances. The finish seemed strange when it rusted but is perfect because there is no glare when it is really sunny. This wedge has had alot ot do with the improvement of my shortgame. From 100 yards and in, I consistantly hit it to within 15 feet. The trajectory can be controoled beautifully(though I love to hit it high and see it spin). If you want a wedge that'll take your shortgame to the next level, this is it!(good for thinners, not for chunkers and hackers)

This is probably the greatest chipping club ever made, far better than Vokey, Cleveland, and Wilson. Also, awesome from fairway and rough. But, its one glaring weakness is that the sharp leading edge makes it a bad wedge in wet conditions. So, I have an alternate Wilson Mendralla for wet conditions. Five stars if you do the same, four stars otherwise.

I play wislon staff irons and love them but wilson makes awful wedges. I got this club last season and love it. If you can't spin the ball with this club, you can't spin the ball. I can hit extremely aggressivly, with confidence. Love the look, love the feel. I am concerned about getting the sand wedge. I wonder about the lack of bounce. But as lob wedges go this one is great.

I was looking around on ebay one day and found the cobra wedge about to end so i bought it for 50 bucks. I really did no research whatsover but I honestly love this club. It seems I would crush a drive and have 50 yards left to the green and I would chunk it or skull it. I have a lot of confidence from about 120 yards in with this club, if you really let a ball have it it will tear your ball up a bit but man its neat to see it spin. I couldnt be more happy with this club, it just feels really nice. It isnt the best club out of the sand in my opinion but everywhere else I have the utmost confidence. If someone buys a 53 and doesnt like it, email me.
