Sssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! This is the best kept secret in golf..... All i can say is that this thing feel so good in my hands... feels like an extension of my hand...easy and soft to use... brought my putts down to about 31-32 per round from 36. Dont tell your friends though...otherwise it gets harder to find an edge....

The appearance is what drove me towards this wedge-- very classy and unique design. Well constructed and sturdy, like all Ping clubs. A generous sized face for a tour model wedge. Made of stainless steel, so it lacks the feel or feedback of a carbon steel wedge. Overall a nice club, but unless you're a Ping loyalist I'd choose the CG14 (easy to hit, stainless steel head with good feedback) or Vokey SM (excellent feel for shotmaking).

Customer Service

Excellent. I'd rate PING second only to Callaway customer service.

This model is an excellent choice for many golfers out there, but for the avid golfer looking to get great feed back this would not be my first choice. Every shot feels the same mis-hit or flush. Pro's about the club is that there is a consistent ball flight to the wedge. Solid weight design gives a weekend golfer the confidence to really attack the ball and receive good results. Overall was happy with the wedge, but was not what I was looking for to hone my wedge game.

This is by far the best wedge I have ever played and I have demoed many different wedges. The feel of the ball coming off the face is amazing and the special grinds available can create the perfect wedge for everyone. Distance control is wonderful and they excel from all types of lies.

Customer Service

Haven't had to deal with them yet.

I was fitted for the Ping Craz-e putter and was so pleased with the results that when I decided to change wedges I was very interested in the Tour models. My Cleveland 588's were the only wedges I ever fell in love with so I was a little hesitant. It came down to the Cleveland CG 10, Titleist Vokey, Taylormade Satin MB and the Ping Tour. All are very good club's but for me the Ping's were the choice. A nice thick topline at address, a very well matched shaft producing good feedback but still giving the confidence that you can really push through impact in thick rough, soft feel off the face with decent correctional ability on off centre shots coupled with spin. Lots of spin. These wedges really produce spin over most of the others. The Titleist also produced a noticeable difference but the Ping really grab. However, once I played a few rounds and adjusted to them the spin rates were easily controlled. I use 3 piece balls with spin covers and the wedges did not scuff them up any more than a regular round. Their attention to clubfitting is another reason I chose them over the competitors. Very happy and pleased with their performance and no regrets with purchase. Value gets a 4 out of 5 as they are on the higher side of retail price as compared to most other models.

Pretty good! I can play any short game shot with the 56 quite confidently, with no problems of tight lies atall. I'd reccomend these wedges to anyone especially at the price you can pick them up now. I got mine for about £50 a piece, can't complain. Four out of five can be justified with only OK feel, compared to some fine forged wedges out there, but still not bad atall. I'm sure i won't be changing these wedges until theyr grooves are worn into roof-artex styled patterning.

I'm not a fan of these wedges. They're too light, and have little feel. Vokey and Cleveland are better. Try before you buy.

This club is visually appealing with its black shine finish. It sets up like an iron making it easier to hit. I can use it for a variety of shots and can it to spin well and go low if needed. Ball contact feels soft and solid, minimal vibration on mis hits. One of the best wedges out there.

Bought the 52* gap and it became my "go to" club around the green, as well as the 90-110 range. I never would have suspected I would like a club more than the old Cleveland 588's but this has a softer feel. I liked it so much, I replaced my pitching wedge with an s59 (similar design), and my lob and sand with one 56*. The 56 is the most versatile wedge I have ever used. I can flop it confidently off the short grass, as well as off fluffy lies. It performs very well from the sand and from the fairway. These wedges are highly recomended for great performance and feel. For me, these clubs make it possible to think the shot, make the shot (usually). Also love my Ping G2i Anser putter.

Customer Service

I have called them frequently with a variety of questions, as I was considering the i5's (went with Mizuno mx25's, 4-9). They are excellent in answering most questions. That is the extent of my need for customer service.
