I have used the 2010 e-6 lately. It is a very good soft feeling ball. It does everything except back up. It will bite some but you probably want suck it off the green. It don't see how they can improve this ball. The only problem is the price. Tax and all they can run around $30. I call that a mid priced ball.

I found one of these balls while looking for mine. I never found mine so I decided to use the e6. What a difference that ball made from the recycled collection that I had been hitting.
I went out and bought a dozen and after 54 holes I am still using the same ball. It still looks like new, too. Some of the better golfers on here don't seem to care for this ball but it is my ball of choice for the time being.

Model Reviewed: Bridgestone e6 straight

Let me start by saying my swing speed with a driver is about 85 mph, I have an 11 handicap, and was losing distance due to age. I've tried a LOT of golf balls including Callaway, TaylorMade, Titleist, and Bridgestone. I recently tried the Bridgestone e6 straight, and it comes as close to anything I've found yet to combining distance, the ability to stick a good iron shot, and a soft feel for putting. This makes the B330 RX look grossly overpriced in comparison as the e6 goes farther off the driver and stops better on the green. Distance off the driver with solid contact is around 250 yards which is about 25 yards more than I'm used to. Am hitting more fairways, more greens, and love the feel off the putter. I played with a buddy who's constantly fighting a slice and loses a lot of balls, and it took him 13 holes to lose one of these. Highly recommended.

This ball is great. It goes super long off the tee and is always strait. For those people who aim way left to fix a slice those days are no more. I do agree they are not a soft around the green but they do feel good on putts and feel decent on all irons.

This ball is something of a revelation.
I found one on my home course a week or so back, and gave it a few hits with mid and short irons while heading back to the car-park.
Also had a few putts on the 18th....and there was just something about it.
It is straight; it has a nice feel off my Odyssey polymer insert putter,it's about half a club longer than my standard Pro V...and at $49.00 or so a box...cheap as the proverbial chips.
So I bought a box a few days ago, and yes the e6 ( compared to a lot of other balls around, including the rather harsh 330)has a lively and interactive quality about it. A personality if you like!

It won't perform miracles if you slice or hook badly ( try prayer or meditation for that), but it does clearly & gently correct minor deviations in flight, has a nice feel coming of my forged AP2s and Mizuno MP14s, putts well, and allows me to factor in reduced spin on green-side chips in a largely predictable manner.

Unlike the Pro V, it's a little harder to shape shots, and you do need to allow for less check on the greens...but making the occasional adjustment is what the World's Greatest Game is all about, no?
Ultimately, naturally, ball sellection is a personal thing....but like a cheeky Cattle Dog pup, the e6 has personality and if you treat it right it will work for you.
Give it a go,' cause at the price it's a real contender in this writer's humble opinion

I played many balls and still am not sure which one is gonna be the ball I will stick with. So last year I tried the e6. Funny, I was told by another Pro it has some good feel to it and gives me some more accuracy. Now I read some reviews which tell us, that the ball is hard. I am not sure. It is def. better then the ProV1 for my game and I have no problem to get spin to it. It is true, that it is harder and you need to hit it perfect to get the spin on it, but it works. I was happy all the way so far. Now I am playing the new ball and will see how this one will work.
Fact is, that for the price of this ball it was a pretty good one.

Customer Service

I bought the ball at the Pro Golf Discount in Lynnwood, WA. This store I visit often and bought quiet some stuff there. The service is ok, but you need to find help in order to get it. The Pro there gave some good advise. Overall you get good value, but you should get some info about the product you need before you go in there.

I switched to the e6 after hitting too many OBs off of the tee with pro V1s. This ball certainly helps keep the ball in play. No loss in distance.

The downside is do not expect any softness around the greens. Anti-spin also means anti-spin on that nice little chip shot. Don't expect it to check up.

Bottom line is if you are erratic off the tee I would definitely recommend this ball.

My favorite ball used to be the Precept U-Tri Tour and I had hoped this might replace the Precept which is now off the market. It does not! The e6 is like a rock and easily bested by any other in the same price range.

This is one of the best balls for the price. You give up a good feel off short irons..true, but it's a long ball and flys straight off the driver. I play the Prov1x and the Calloway HX Tour 56, which are far better balls, but they are far more expensive.
When my game is off and I want to go out and just get some work in, I like to use this ball.
For the average player... it's cheap and helps you hit your driver in the fairway.
I would also suggest the ave player should find a ball they like and stick with that one ball.. hitting whatever ball you have in the bag will not improve your game.
