I've played all the best balls out there Pro V etc. and most recently Taylor Made Tour Red. The E6 is not as soft and spins less on short shots but for a player like me who has a tendency to hit wayward drives a couple of times a round I found this ball kept me in play on my my wayward drives. Short and mid irons were straight as a arrow. You do need to play for the release on short shots but if you know that it works. I lost nothing in driver yardage compared to Pro V. Good drives were 290 mis hits about 250.

GREAT BALL!!!! I'm not really a great player, but this ball does help your slice. Not as much as advertised though. Good distance, not exceptional, but more than saticefactory. I can't make a ball check and stop, but it did have good short game fell. Doesn't scrape or scuff easily. great ball, good price. i recomand it.

A very average ball. I like most balls. I worked in a golf shop and have tried almost everything on the simulator and on the course. This ball is an absolute dud. It has no pop whatsoever. The only thing it does well is flies fairly straight. If you've hurt your back or swing like a pansy, this is your ball. Other than that, it's time to get real. For your money I would get a Precept, an HX Hot, or an NXT. These balls fly much further and have better feel. Bridgestones B330 series is a much better ball, but you're gonna pay for it.

Have tried a lot of golf balls. found the E6 to be excellent in distance and straight down the fairway. Like the solid soft feel. Will buy this ball the next time I purchase golf balls. Good ball.

Doesn't exactly straighten out my ball flight like the box says, but still is a good ball for the money. Spins enough on the full shots, but like most value balls, doesn't spin as much on chips and pitches. A good ball, but don't expect straight shots when you buy it.

I have been going back between the Pro V1 and Taylormade TP Red. I got tired of scuffing up the balls with every hard wedge I hit, the covers were so soft. I had heard some great things about this ball for the price so I decided to try it out for a few rounds. I love it. It seams about a club longer than the Pro V. It has good feel off of the putter, and I have hit cart paths with it and could not tell. The only negative is on short chips it does not spin great. I have to chip short and let the ball run up on the green, but for the price I will stick with this ball for a while.

this is a decent ball. it definilty makes shots alot staighter but not much farther. there was not a lot of spin so it was hard to make it sit on the green. pretty good price for the ball.

I recently played a couple rounds alternating the E6 with an NXT Tour. One the drives the E6 was slightly longer but not as straight.Same was true for the mid irons. But when it go to wedge time the NXT was superior to the E6.When putting the e6 felt a bit harder. This is ok if that is what you like but I prefer a touch softer ball.I think I will stay with the NXT Tour for approx same $

I'm a big fan of Bridgestone/Precept products, and both the E5 and E6 are excellent balls. Had loved the U-TRI Tour ball and was sad to see it discontinued. There is no way I'm going to pay $40.00 for a dozen balls, and both these balls are top performers and can be found for $22-25 a dozen. I carry both the E5 and E6 during a round and use the E5 for down wind holes and the E6 for into the wind holes. If I had to pick one, though, it would be the E5, since the E6 really lacks spin. Both are long, soft, durable, and putt well. If you hit straight shots and wind is not an issue opt for the E5--you won't be disappointed! Great ball!

Played my first round with the Bridgestone e6's today. Here are my thoughts:

Distance:

Very long ball. I purposely hit an e6 ball, then hit my usual ball, a Nike Power Super Soft on every shot. This ball was 1 club longer on about every shot.

Accuracy:

The e6 did well on holding its line. On a 200 yard par three, I had wind right in my face as I addressed the ball. I first hit the Nike Super Soft. It was a low draw, which I didn't want to hit seeing as the wind was just enhancing this shot go further left. I ended up 10 yards left of the green, almost pin high. Now to the e6. I kept the 3 iron in my hands and tee'd up the e6. I was pleasantly suprised with a pretty straight shot that sat nicely on the left side of the green. Still had a little draw on it, but less than the Nike.

Spin:

The e6 did not fair well in this category for me. I am used to being able to stop the ball on the green fairly easily with my PING tour wedge. The e6 kept rolling and rolling on several shots. The Nike Super Soft excelled in this area and saved many strokes. Keep in mind that the Bridgestone e6 is a low spin ball - it was engineered for this very reason....To keep you in the fairway.

Overall preference:

I still prefer the Nike Power Super Soft for several reasons.

1. Good spin and stops well
2. Good distance and height
3. Very good feel on the wedges and putter
4. Price is $15.95 per dozen
