Found a noodle on the 8th hole and played scratch golf until I lost it on the 18th. The flight was high and long, drove a number over 260 and one much longer. Does not stop well but it putts smooth. I did like this ball and would consider buying them when I run out of my present store of balls. I canèt really justify the value rating as I found the ball and I do not know what they cost Similar Products Used: Wilson Smart Core, Strata, Top Flight |

Great ball, with great feel, I used to use the faithful Precept MC Lady, however I have switched to the noodle this season after trying some other balls like the Laddie, the Loco, and the NXT Tour. I feel that the Noodle has the best feel, and is the most playable with wedges and short irons. Distance off the tee for all was comparable, but I just always seem to shoot better when I play with the noodles. I got a sleeve of Maxfli Noodles free with a shoe purchace while on vacation in Colorado. I was playing tourist golf courses from 5000 to 9000 feet so I was not adverse to put my regular ball away and give the new low compression Noodle a try. The first thing I noticed was that these balls had an extremely high trajectory. The distance was about the same as my Strata's, but these things produced much higher trajectories, stayed fairly straight, and stopped within a reasonable distance from where they hit on the green. So I bought a box. I was cosidering playing them regularly when I got home to Missouri (since Strata is "improving" my regular ball), but one thing stopped me. The Noodles's very high trajectory at lower altitudes was not beneficial for me. I found myself losing yardage on mid and long iron shots. The ball still drove straight, felt soft, and putted well. Pitch and chip shots tend to be hot, so a slight adjustment has to be made. They're in my wife's bag now. She loves them. Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: No other low compression ball. Mid to premium balls from Strata, Titleist, and Maxfli |

Great ball. Goes 15-20 yards longer than the Maxfli Revolution 90 which I've played for some time and really like. Seems to have enough spin for slick greens. Putts the same as the Revolution. |

I just played a round with the Noodle and was very impressed. It doesn't have quite the spin on my approaches as some of the high priced balls, but it did bite. It was certainly longer off my short irons than I am used to - in particular, I flew the green twice on 3/4 wedges and once with an 8 iron. I'm no short hitter either, I would classify myself as med-long with a smooth tempo. It really is a great ball for the money and quite comparable with the high priced balls. Very soft ball. I was really drawn to the fact that appelaed to people with slower swing speeds, so I got my father a dozen for father's day,and he really liked them, for the fact that he has a slower swing. He's also looked at the NXT Tour's and started trying those out, but is still keeping the Noodle in his bag, too. It's a very soft ball that sticks to his clubface longer, and he's keeping up with me and my Pro V1's and my fast swing. I've also tried them, and, even with my slightly faster and firmer swing, I've found that these have a lot of feel both off the tee and on the fairway. Greenside with these, they're great with wedges and you get a decent amount of control for when you pitch and roll. Putting with these, though, you have to hit a little firmer to get the amount of feedback that you would normally get with a higher compression ball. Great ball for the value. The Noodle is a very good balance between feel and distance. It is not as long as the A-10; or soft as the Elite. But you get a very playable ball, and at $20 / dozen, you just cannot go wrong! Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Maxfli Revolution; Titliest Distance |

I'm a Senior golfer, and drives are 230-250 and 7 iron 150. I've played MC Lady for a year, and recently tried Noodle & Smartcore Straight Distance. Course was empty, so I played all 3 balls shot-for-shot for 18 holes. On shots where all balls were struck equally well, Maxfli & Wilson out performed Precept in distance. Noodle took second to S/D on all drives except one. Noodle had slightly softer feel on all shots. Putting feel equal, with Noodle best distance control, and S/D truer line. I do not spin the ball, so no opinion there. On loft-and-drop shots, Noodle seemed to stay closer to divot. Bottom line...I was impressed and would switch from Lady to Noodle. But edge has to go to Wilson Straight Distance overall. With Wilson's two-for-one price,it's a no brainer if you're on a golf budget. Half the price of Noodle. If price were equal, it would be a toss-up, but would take Noodle over all the similar balls I've played. Have been a Maxfli fan forever and was intrigued by there campaign to sell the noodle. The ball is very, very soft, something I love off the irons. Distance is very good, maybe a little bit shorter than pro v 1. Good spin around the greens, and putts very well. Just a better ball than the lady(longer w/ lower trajectory. I have recieved some heat from my pro v 1 pals, but they admit the ball has good distance, spin and feel. And at 19.95 per doz. I''m sold. Try em, you''ll like them Similar Products Used: Precept lady |
