Maxfli Noodle Balls

Maxfli Noodle Balls

DESCRIPTION

Maxfli''s research and development department set out to create a ball that combined the seemingly incompatible qualities of long distance and soft feel at impact; it was called Project Noodle. They succeeded in their quest, and the Noodle was born. The secret of the Noodle is a high-energy, low-compression core material, soft-yet-durable Surlyn cover, and a high-launch 408-dimple pattern. Want maximum distance without a hard feel? Try the Noodle, the ball with the intriguing name and outstanding performance.

Back to the Noodle.

Playing golf again after 6 years off. Saw the Noodle for $10.50 per doz and said why not, I haven't played in a while and these will be fine. Shot high 90s to low 100s first few times out and after 3 months got back to the mid to the 80's. So I went back to my good old Titleist and Bridgestone balls. I went back to shooting in the low 90's for 2 weeks...tried the Noodle again and was back in the 80's right away. Go figure.

I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!

I am a member at one of the top private clubs in the mid-west. Our range balls are Pro-V's. I think they are a very good ball. But for the $ I find the Noodle + to be just as good. I am 54 years old and have been fortunate to have played at a very high level in my life. I used to think that the "Tour Ballata" was the real thing. I remember getting the first sample TopFlite when I was in high school. A solid ball....unreal. This Noodle spins fine, goes great, is remarkable in its consistnacy. At $12 a dozen. Its great for my game and fun to kick butt in my games with friends.

Not the best ball, my ball of choice still the ProV1.. but for practice rounds this ball is reasonably durable, can get a little spin and bite with irons, and comes off the driver and 3 wood face nicely. For £3.95 for 4 balls (at local golf shop) definatley a budget option especially if in money saving mode!

By the way... how much of a snobby douchebag was that other guy.. "I marshal 2 courses.." what a toss-pot.. sorry pro.. do you need to seek reassurance and assert yourself over people on the internet?? What a sadact

In my experience this ball is neither long nor soft.

I bought a box of 15 balls for $19, a good price.

Unlike the many 5 star reviews below this one, I just do not get a sense of well being using this ball.

This ball seems to fly more erratically than my usual Titleist Pro V1X. It is not as long off the driver than the softer feeling Titleist. Off the Putter face the Noodle feels & sounds cheap and plastic to me.

In this price range I'd much rather hit a Top Flight or Precept or Pinnacle ball.

I marshall 2 local courses. I get to keep all teh lost balls that I find. I've smacked every golf ball brand ever made. My current ball is a Titleist Pro V1X.

the noodle is a great ball in my opinion it is soft and it is forgiving for a golfer with my skills considering i shoot in the 90's on 18 it is a great ball and when it comes to using it on irons you can get it to do almost anything you want it to and when you put with it you barely tap it and the ball will go which i love since my putting game is where i kill myself so if you are just starting golfing highly suggest the maxfli noodle to you

A fellow golfer gave me my first Noodle ball at the end of last season. I liked the way it felt when I hit it. So I brought a box and have been using them on a regular basis during league play. I hit my first Hole-in-One this season and it was with the Noodle Long & Soft. In simple terms, the ball just feels great.
