Maxfli Noodle Balls

Maxfli Noodle Balls

DESCRIPTION

Maxfli''s research and development department set out to create a ball that combined the seemingly incompatible qualities of long distance and soft feel at impact; it was called Project Noodle. They succeeded in their quest, and the Noodle was born. The secret of the Noodle is a high-energy, low-compression core material, soft-yet-durable Surlyn cover, and a high-launch 408-dimple pattern. Want maximum distance without a hard feel? Try the Noodle, the ball with the intriguing name and outstanding performance.

Hit my longest drive ever with this ball (hit well inside the 100 yard marker on a par-4 397 yard hole). Feels great off the drive and during the long iron game. Did not hinder the putting, and I do not put spin on the ball so I can't tell if it does a job there or not. Cheaper than my Titleist Distance balls I use to play with and I hit them further and feel more comfortable with them. Great ball!

I found a maxfli noodle golf ball on my local golf course and as I had never heard of the make before placed it in my golf bag. On losing my regular ball (calaway HX HOT)a couple of days later, pulled out the noodle ball and loved it. Has a good feel and certainly travels as far or farther than my regular ball. Will definitely buy
some.

The ball isforgiving on my arthritis. I have no idea what the compression is on the ball and Maxfli will not return my email as to what the compression may be. Good product, lousey corporate communications.

I normally shoot in the high 80's at most courses. I consider myself a bogey golfer who drops enough putts to be slightly better than that. last season whgile looking for an "edge" in my weekend group,I left the Noodles in the bag and I bought Callaway HX tour 56 and Titliest Pro V1-x. I found that they we not any longer than the Noodle but they spun much more. Which is a disadvantage for me. Both of the top end balls faded a lot more off the tee with the additional spin, costing me even more distance. I gave the rest of those balls away to my playing partners and this season I am back to my Noodles. They are longer and straighter off the tee for me. They putt great and feel soft around the green. I am not a spinner with my wedge shots so, I don't see any improvement playing the big money balls in the short game. Unless you like to spin the ball, your wasting your money buying anything but a Noodle. It's one of the longest balls off the tee and it has excellent green side feel. Plus, it's a great value with the 15 ball pack. I will never play a different ball again.

I've played a lot of different kinds of balls from rock hard distance balls like the Callaway Warbird and Titleist DT and NXT distances to spin and feel balls like the Precept Laddie, but the Noodle offers the best of both worlds. I hit this ball higher and farther than most distance balls, and it feels so well off the clubhead. I am more confident in hitting draws and fades because of how this ball feels. I have a relatively fast swing speed (between 108 mph & 113 mph) and the ball reacts even better. The ball bites pretty well on greens with most wedge and short iron shots, and the high trajectory of the ball helps with mid and long clubs. It feels very soft for chips and putts as well. The only drawback is when you play on particularly windy days when high trajectory shots aren't the most wise shots to hit. The price is incredibly low. I hit my record best round of 2 over par using a Noodle.

WOW!!!!
I read some reviews from this site this morning before going to my golf shop and buy a dozen of Maxfli Noodle golf balls. I had a 9 hole round after work today and am absolutely ecstatic. I hit my driver between 200 and a huge (for me) 240 metres. I shed about 6 shots to shoot a 52 with a noxious bunker causing me to drop 3 shots. I could have gone aound my course for the firt time in under 100!!!!! This is no coincidence.
I liked the distance obviously even though I still have to get used to putting with them as they are very different from the balls I used before (Wilson Iwound).
I tell you what: I've found my ball.

Great ball. Easy to hit and I recommend anyone starting to take up the sport to try this ball out. Maxfli makes a decent ball for the price.

I've only been golfing four years and am over 50, so I have a fairly low swing speed (clocked at about 86 mph). I've tried may different balls, but I got a sleeve of Noodles at a golf outing. These were the best balls I've ever played--I get at least 10-15 yds more off the tee, my approach shots land soft on the green with very little roll and the ball "feels" right coming off the putter. I played one of these balls for 36 holes before I lost it. This is a terrific ball for the money.

I have tried a lot of balls from Titliest - Callaway to Topflight. I keep coming back to the Noodle. I love the feel of this ball. It's not to soft or to firm. I get my longest drives and love the way it comes off my irons. I can not tell you about spin on checking up on the greens. I am more of a bump and run player that depends on the ball releasing toward the hole. I have read in so many of the reviews about the ball scuffing up. The only time I have that problems is when I hit a cart path. Then it doesn't matter what type of ball I have it will scuff. For my game the Noodle works out to be a great all round ball. My driving distance is a bit longer and striaghter. Irons are high and soft. Putting I have grown to love the softer feel coming off the face. How ever I do like the Bridgestone E6 very similar but love the price of the Noodles

These balls are very long and straight. I played with some friends recently. One of them is a very long driver who uses Prov1 balls. He usually outdrives me by 20-30m and by as much as 50m sometimes. We played recently and I used the Noodle. We all hit our drives and went to look for them. As per normal, I kept looking for my ball behind his but couldn't find it. It wasn't anywhere close to his either. I finally found it at least 20m ahead of his! And even though I sometimes hook the ball pretty badly, this ball only drew slightly, giving me a much better chance of hitting the fairway.
