Great deal! It's long and soft as advertised and will sit on the green w/ a well struck short iron. For the price, it's hard to beat! |

I recently tried this ball after recieving them as a gift. I found out what everyone was talking about. My distance with my driver increased 10-15yds and my irons 15-20yds. But the best thing was how much my short game improved. I usually shoot in the upper 90's but the past two rounds with the noodle I shot 87 & 90. I'm a new golfer who started w/ Top Flite XL 2000 Extra-Long. I've recently switched to Noodle and like the softer feel and didn't lose any distance. Also, much easier to control distance when chipping/putting than w/ TF. I mainly play bump and run so holding greens isn't a big priority for me yet. But I did find that the Noodle stays put w/ a well hit wedge. Will probably switch to the Noodle Spin as I improve. Similar Products Used: Top Flite XL 2000 Extra Long |

Explosive distance. Great for above average swing speeds. By far the most distance of any ball I've played with. You can spin this ball a bit but not much. Customer Service na Similar Products Used: Prov1, NXTs, Wilson Staff, Nike TA |

Found one is the rough on #12 and shot 2 under on the last 7 holes. My drive on 18 was about as far as I have ever hit a golf ball. I had been leaking the ball to the right all day until I found this guy. I'm a big fan. |

Im my quest for my new ball(my old ball was discontinued :( I played the Maxfli Noodle Spin today. For the first 7 holes I thought I had found the one. But I noticed the ball was scraped. So I took out a new ball and all was well. Untill the 17th hole when again the ball was scraped up. I'm not a big hitter by any means(swing speed @ 94mph with irons). I can't see playing a ball that marks up so easy. 3 balls in one round without losing any is to much. To bad. The search continues. Today was the first day I tried the Noodle ball. After the second hole I relized I made a great choice. I gained a whole iron per shot. The feel is soft. I have a problem with my left middle finger. From the first shot I hit my finger will ache like its broke the rest of the round. Not today. Ive played around 40 rounds of golf this year and today was the first day my finger didnt ache to where it hurt to hit the ball. Maybe it was how soft the ball felt when hitting or maybe a fluke..Who knows. Im playing another 18 tomorrow so time will tell. The problem I had today was on the greens. It seems the ball blasts off the putter face. Something Im going to have to get use to. I didnt notice any real difference in how it would stick compared to the Top Flites I was using this year. But overall I gained more yardage with each club. Which was a problem the first couple of holes. I can honestly say I didnt hit any hooks or slices today. Could of been just a good day. The price isnt bad compared to the higher end balls with similar results. Thanks for your time and Hit 'em straight!! |

I just bought these balls on Saturday and played 27 holes on Sunday only loosing one ball. My drives still need work with any ball but holy %#$@ my second shots and chips were awesome, I even chipped one in(Doesn't happen very often for me). Not too much roll and a very soft feel. Now I know what everyone means about "soft" feel. Used to play Nike, no longer. Hooked on the Noodle. |

BEWARE the BIG BOUNCE! This is a follow up to another review I posted previously. When it comes to long and soft this ball performs as advertized. Although proficient in every aspect of the game, I don't play a high spin style. As a long hitter with a good short game my objective is to stay out of trouble. Many golfers don't realize that the same ball that will back up ten feet on the green with a seven iron will also sail out of bounds with the slightest mistake. Therefore, I like a soft feeling low spin ball that will take one or two small hops with a short release. The Noodle's low spin charicteristic is very forgiving off the tee and on long approach shots. I'm convinced it is the longest by far of the low compression balls. I can't believe how good I drive this ball. It's "grip it and rip it" with minimal trouble. For instance, in a four man scramble this morning in wet conditions (little roll) we used all my drives except two! The noodle is also a joy to hit with irons and putts excellent. However, after playing it four or five times per week for a month, I have discovered a HUGE issue with this ball. For some reason out of the blue, when the greens are dry and hard this ball sometimes will take a first bounce exactly like it hit a cart path! I'm not kidding!!! It only happens once in a while, but it is a nasty characteristic that will turn a perfect shot into a scramble to make par off the backside of the green. One time on a 170 yard par 3, I hit a shot perfectly to the middle of the green and it must have bounced 30 feet high like it hit a sprinkler head and then rocketed long. One of my playing partners blurted out in amazement, WHAT DID THAT HIT??? I didn't even bother to answer. But, beware of the BIG bounce. As much as I like the feel and distance of this ball, it can't be trusted in when greens are dry and hard. Use these balls for a while and you will find out for yourself what I mean. The search for the ideal ball for my game continues.... Similar Products Used: ProV1x, Laddie, LoCo, DT SoLo |

I've been searching for the clubs/ball combo that will help increase distance. I tried the Noodle and boy does it go! My driver swing speed is around 100 mph when I go after it and this ball is going around 260. The one drawback however is putting on a fast green. I just couldn't get the feel of the ball on an extremely fast green. That just killed my score. I switched to the Noodle Spin and that ball is great for everything. So Original Noodle Distance - amazing Putting - good on slow greens, terrible on fast greens Stopping - Had problems holding the greens Noodle Spin Distance - very good Putting - very good Stopping - good Cons - this ball scuffs very quickly Conclusion - I'm going to stick with the Noodle Spin for a while. Very good ball for the money. Noodle spin ball would get an overall rating of 5. Customer Service na Similar Products Used: All (Titleist, Callaway, Ben Hogan, etc) |
