Maxfli Revolution Solid Balls

Maxfli Revolution Solid Balls

DESCRIPTION

Welcome to the Maxfli Revolution Solid golf ball. Extending the success of the original Revolution, the new Revolution Solid ball combines the added distance of solid balls with exceptional feel. The Revolution Solid features a micro-bond layer between its oversized, solid center and soft, urethane outer cover. As a result, the Revolution Solid offers players a premium combination of distance and control. The new Revolution Solid was developed to answer demand for the increased distance a solid ball provides. While giving players the added distance, the Revolution Solid is also designed to give the better golfer sufficient spin for control

I LOVED THE ORGINAL REVOLUTION, SO I TRIED THIS SOLID, I FOUND THAT IT FELT LIKE A BRICK WHEN PUTTING. ITS HARD FOR ME TO SAY IF IT GOES LONGER OR SHORTER WITH THE DRIVER THAN THE ORGINAL REV. BUT AFTER HITTING A PUNCHED PITCHING WEDGE TO THE FIRST HOLE I PLAYED WITH THIS BALL I WAS SHOCKED TO FIND THAT THE COVER HAD SCUFFED, EVEN THOUGH THE BALL DIDNT SPIN AS MUCH AS USUAL. IM NNOT ONE OF THESE GUYS WHO SHOUTS ABOUT SPINNING A BALL BACK 10 YARDS WITH SHORT IRONS, BUT I CAN USUALLY GET THE BALL TO STOP AND MAYBE A LITTLE BACKSPIN IF THE CONTACT IS GOOD. BUT THIS BALL HAD VERY LITTLE SPIN. DISSAPOINTING

Excellent ball. Low spin off the long clubs, great feel and spin off the short ones. Feels great putting and is reasonably durable.

This is an absolutely terrific golf ball. Although I like the wound Revolution, it has always felt a bit mushy to me. The Solid is firmer feeling but still soft. It is long and among the best balls in the wind. It is a fabulous driving ball; it rises quickly but doesn't balloon. Spins a ton on full iron shots. I especially love the feel off the putter, it has a wonderful firm feel that is just right in my hands. I have had my best putting rounds with this ball. Around the greens it is very good, but will not spin as much as high-spin balls such as the wound Revolution and Slazenger Player's. If you like the Nike TA or Titleist V1 this is a ball you must try. A+ for Maxfli. I'm surprised it is not more popular.

I have been playing a 2-piece ball for a long time. Very big Titleist HP2Tour fan. A good salesman at a local golf store convinced me to try out these balls, especially with the current Maxfli promotion(if you think the ProV1s are better, return these to maxfli and get your money back). Well...I haven't found one reason to send the balls back. I've noticed that I get 5-10 yards longer off the tee. Also, this ball sits down extremely well on the greens. I feel much more confident when shots less than 40 yards. I can attack the pin and the ball will stop quickly. Highly recommended!

I have had an opportunity to play the new Maxfli Revolution Solid and it is an excellent ball. In comparison to the original Revolution, it does not spin as much but the spin rate is definitely good and ball stops but does not spin back. The distance is explosive it goes much further. The ball has a nice feel around the green both chipping and putting. It is a very good ball better than I thought it would be.
The cover gets scuffed some on this ball more than it did on the original Revolution, all in all it is a very complete golf ball.

The original Revolution offers the best of spin and distance. How could this ball be better? Well, it doesn't spin quite as much but is longer. On firm greens the ball just stops within a couple of feet of the ball mark. It's long both off the driver and the irons, adding about 5 yards to both. As for wedge play, the Solid doesn't spin as much as the original, but is adequate for all but the hardest greens.

For me, the Solid performs better than the Pro V-1 in all areas, especially cost.

Very long off the tee. Better around the green than the pro-v and less expensive. Very good ball for the price.

I felt this ball was a great improvement on the Revolution. I've been playing the Revolution 90 for over a year now and enjoyed the distance coupled with the green side feel. My only complaint was it felt just a bit too soft for me, especially putting. Contrastly the Revolution 100 felt to firm. The Maxlfi Revolution Solid is just right. Long off the tee without sacrificing touch around the dance floor. Definitly worth the roughly $35 price tag.

Well how do i start, let me wipe my tears. Ok I am ready, this ball stinks the ball should be completly redone. The original is the best ball ever made other than the callaway rule 35 blue. the ball scuffs way to wasy, isnt as long, and isnt as soft. I would take a discolored maxfli revolution 100 any day over these balls. Take my advice stick with the original Maxfli Revolution 90 or 100.

Like the Strata Tour Ultimate I think Maxfli should have waited longer and brought out a ball nearer the V1. This ball feels like a distance ball, marks up badly is is very poor around the greens. A major letdown and not likely to sell.
