Absolutely nowhere near worth the money. It has pretty good feel but this ball scuffs and gets bad scratches on it very easily. It has decent spin but not great and isn't great in the wind like the Hogan Apex Tour or Callaway HX. It is the same distance as premium golf balls but not at all durable. You've gotta switch balls like every 3 holes because it scuffs so badly. Don't waste you money on these.

This is a decent ball. Distance is competitive (close to) all but the mighty V1x. Spin is good, not the extreme spinner of say - a revolution or an old V1, but good enough in most cases. Aerodynamics are fair, not a great wind ball like the HX but not bad. Overall, a very decent ball. Feel is much better than the X, which to me, is too hard on short irons, but this Ace is no Srixon either. I don't expect to be paying for these again, not that impressed. But I'd have no big problem putting one into tournament play, just think there are better choices. Hope this helps.

This golf ball is comparable to the ProV1. Distance is good and it holds well on short irons. However, it does have a tendency to scuff easily. I want to know why all of the earlier reviewers, who shoot in the 80s, but can now hit this ball 300+ yards are'nt shooting in the 60s and 70s. Sounds like they need to work on their wedge game. Because at the distances they claim to hit this ball they must hit their wedges at least 160 yards. Oh! maybe they can't putt.

I enjoyed playing the Tour Ace immensely. It checks up on the green better than any other ball I've played, and it has excellent distance to boot. HOWEVER, at the price they're getting for these, the durability of these balls is not great. The Tour Professional model is much better value for the money IMHO, if you like Strata. I still haven't found a ball that does everything I want at the price I want to pay, though. Up next is the DT So/Lo.

Excellent Ball. As good as the Pro V1. Premium quality ball gives the expected results. A little on the expensive side to play regularly.

the tour ace is right up there with the best of them, longer and softer than the Pro V's. I still prefer the Hogan Apex Tour but this Strada is very similar, the Hogan is a little longer.

I have played every high end ball out there you can name and I used to play the orginal Tour Ultimate but it cut & scuffed so easily I was disappointed. I have been playing the Srixon Hi-Brid Tour mainly for the last year, which is a nice ball, and when these came out I did want to try the new 4-piece and give them a try. I have simply fell in love with this ball. From tee to green it does it all. The distance is outstanding with a great ball flight and it holds its line very well in windy conditions. The feel off the driver and irons is very nice and the distance control is always very consistent. I am not huge fan of spinning my shots into the green so I want a ball that stays where you hit it and this one very much gets you to fire at the pin. Thier claim of one hop & stop is right on. Putting this ball is always what I have enjoyed with a Strata ball. Nice feel of the face and a very nice roll. As far as durability is concerned I have been very surprised. I have read other reviews about easily scuffing and after the 4 rounds playing the Ace, I have yet to uncover this myth. I am totally sold on this ball and will not bother to try any other new ball on the market. Give the Ace a try and I guarantee you will become a fan and play this ball. Plus the 4 suits instead of numbers that make up a dozen is kinda cool as well.

A pretty good ball. I have been playing it the last 4 or 5 rounds. The distance is just great! I drove a par 4 for the first time just yesturday. I wish their was a little more spin of short irons but I guess it would be to good to be true. On a good short iron it will bounce once and stop. I want to compare with the tour ultimate + because I have heard good things. But I need the great distance of this ball so I think i'll stick with it. Peace.

I dont understand the comment of the person that stated that the Ultimate+ is a softer ball than the Ace. The Ace provides far better feel, but not quite the distance. Both are very high quality balls and would recommend either to anyone that is looking to shave a shot or two off their score. If you need to add a few more yards on your shots, the Ultimate+ is the way to go. Likewise if you need some more feel and spin around the greens the Ace is an outstanding ball. Playing in NM (hard fast conditions) the Ace is the only ball I've played that will hold these greens. It's just a matter of realizing the conditions you play in and knowing what your game need.
