Bought these balls after my shop sold out of Pro V1s and the guy advised these instead. I liked the fact they felt slightly harder on the club face (especially the putter). Distance wise they were similar to the pro V1 - long. In terms of control, personally I got more spin with these. They also putt beautifully. BUT, with the Pro V1 & Pro V1* you get the feeling that slices and hooks straighten out a bit, These tended to keep curving in the air.

I had been playing the Ultimate 2 ball for the past season and was excited to try out the Ace. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be an improvement. First of all, it's very hard. I suspect that to get the best out of the ball requires a high swing speed. Compared to the Ultimate 2, it's disappointing. The Ultimate 2 is soft and long with very good spin. The new Ulimate + is a better ball.
