This is the first review I've ever posted. I've used the sight from time to time, but the word needs to get out on this ball. I played the PV-1 very happily since it's intro until about 2 months ago when just by chance I happened to play the Tour Ultimate and I was extremely impressed. Now, yes the Tour Ultimate's cover is not as durable as the Pro V, but the distance is equal and the feel is far superior. But the thing I liked most was how well these balls hold greens vs the PV-1's. I highly recommend them.

Bought a sleeve to play in a tournament, because I like the Strata Professional balls. I played this ball in a 3-Man scramble and I was pretty impressed. I don't think there is a huge difference between the Professional and TU, so I don't know if the TU is worth the extra money. That being said, the ball feels great, and goes long off the driver. I hit several balls over 320 yards off the tee during the scramble with the TU. They feel very nice off the irons and are probably the best putting balls out there. They stay round and you get a very nice roll out of them on the green.

I liked them enough to order a dozen from Liquidgolf.com, especially since I had a $15 gift certificate, so the balls only cost me $20 for a dozen. I was thinking about ordering a dozen Pro V's, but I just don't think they are worth that much more money, when comparing the Titleist Pro V1's to the Strata TU. For the money, the TU is the better ball.

I have always liked all the Strata golf balls, so I may be a bit biased, but I think if you buy some Strata TU's, you won't be disappointed. All the Strata balls are excellent all around balls (Distance, spin, accuracy, durability, feel) and the Strata Tour Ulimate is no exception.

I like this ball a lot. I have played it together with Strata Tour Pro and Pro V1. It has more distance and the feel comparable to Strata Tour Pro. Although it has slightly less yardage off the tee than Pro V1, at least it is cheaper. Ones can easily make a good adjustment from Strata Tour Pro.

This ball is AWESOME a must try for ANYONE, it flies off the driver and bites coming in to the green, and forget about the way it putts. My birdie percentage has doubled since using it. A very durable ball, much better then the blue callaways, tour balatas, or professionals which scuff easily.

I think this ball is one of the finest I've ever played. I believe that off the tee is is further than the ones I've tried in the past, and I don't think I'm noticing a big difference in yardage from the irons. These balls sit great on even firm greens, and chipping is fabulous. They feel sooo soft, which I think helps with feedback from a great shot. The real advantage that these balls offer is when it comes to putting. They roll true, feel great, oh, and they roll true. The feeling is superb. I'm making alot more putts and placing the ball much closer, and I haven't changed anything else but the ball I'm playing with. They do scuff a little easier than some of the balls I have used (and that's not from the ball hitting the cart path, trees, etc.). I've heard that the Pro V1 doesn't hold up well in hot weather, (doesn't go as far as it does in colder weather) so I don't think I'll be giving them a try and these are cheaper... Plus, after putting these for a few rounds, I've found my ball.

I had a real shock this weekend- and it was quite a revelation. I have been biased against STRATA because I link them with Topfltie (I hate Topflite Xls). I usually use Callway Blues (especially when you can get them in the practice ball boxes for £18 per dozen) or Titleist Professionals (I stll think that they edge the Pro V1). I tried a pack of the tour ultimates, what a great ball. It is terrific with forged clubs and has great short iron spin and putts beautifully. On top of this it drives well (not quite as long as a Pro V1, but longer than Professionals and Callaway Blues). The main thingg is the way it handels off irons, it really holds it's line. Over all - this is one fantastic ball. I personally believe that it might just edge the Prov1 ( it is a close run thing)- it should be remembered that it is £10 cheaper per dozen. I think that they will join the Cally Blue as my regualr ball.

I used these balls for the first time the other day. No doubt this is a great ball for feel spin and distance. The only problem is the cover is not very resilient and gets scuffed up very easily, not what you want in an expensive ball. I went through 7 balls in one round. Great ball but poor cover.

I didn't really notice anything too special off the tee but when it came to the short irons it really impressed me, and on the green it just seemed to roll well, I don't know if it was me but when I used the ball on the course I took about 6 shots off my game.
